Possibly influenced by my new stash from the SECC show and from LOTV, the next challenge will be Something Animalistic.
You could have an image with an animal on it, something animal print or animal-themed backing paper. Take your pick and let your imagination go wild *bad joke*
me again! Just on catch up... so if I make a card with an animal theme, manage to get it on my blog then I can enter? yay! I also need to work out how to follow you all, I've got most of you saved as links on my phone - early morning blog !!!!!! on route to work :rotfl:If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0 -
Even though I'm running the challenge this fortnight, I had a wee go at an animal card myself. It's in my usual corner of the internet0

Quick question for you ladies who own Nesties....
I now have a few sets, and want to store them in a way where they're not at risk of being bent/broken. I had read somewhere about someone who stored hers on magnetic paper, but don't know what type I should use. I was thinking about getting a cheap scrapbook and putting magnetic paper in it to use my Nesties with, but have no idea where to start.
Any links you could give me would be great

I don't own nesties but I'd prob put them on magnetic paper and then store them in polypockets in a ring binder.
Seen your new card - very lovely. And I received post this morning Ta very much xxx0 -
Flying fresian - not sure if you have seen this lady's Ikki blog she has a lot of useful info and advice about nesties. When I first started with nesties I read a recommendation on her blog of the best way to store nesties and where to get the magnetic sheets. This info is still on her blog part way down on the rt hand side.
here is the link to the lady's ebay shop ikki recommended. Service was very good and included guidance on which sizes of scalloped nesties matched the plain nesties. Free p & p if you mention Ikki's blog
I store my nesties on A4 magnetic sheets in a folder in a plain straight forward box file.

FF Glad it's working and you like it
sorry I can't help with the nesties question - I've only got one set
I know it's not animal related but I've posted something on my little space on the net - it's the exploding box I had to do in a hurry0 -
Just popped in to say Hello!
Love your exploding box PepPop and your card for Chris.
FF, I store my nesties in these, the DVD tins have no centre peg, they are just empty tins and plenty big enough to hold 3-4 sets at a time. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -

Danny has an appointment for a heart scan but his other tests were fine so they are hoping he's ok.
Adam is still awaiting news of his surgery date. They transferred his case to sheffield and it took 2 months for the paperwork to be transferred and despite several phone calls by us and his gp we can't find anything out. They say we'll ring you back and never do.
I'm waiting for summer do you think it will be here soon. I can hardly walk at the moment my knees are giving me h*** . Doc said better weather may help. I hope so cos nothing else does. oops sorry to moan.
Are your eyes any better my mil was telling me about detatched retinas as she had the same thing but about 55 years ago when treatments were different . She walked into a lamp post when she did hers .Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
