Morning, ooh I'm with you soma I'm able to keep up!!! By the way not sure if I congratulated you before but well done on your dt position:T
Rusty/Choccy - hope you are both feeling better.
Rainmac - hope the job goes well.:D
Loving the new LOTV stamps like the little mice cooking ones. Talking of which I had the urge to bake today!!! Not like me at all anyway a batch of brownies, gingersnaps and cinnamon scones later - yum!!! However, in my baking excitement realised not got chicken breast for tea which is a crucial part - oops will need to dash out (after my cup of tea!!)
Right - see you later ladies enjoy your Saturday.0 -
Good Morning!
Rainmac - glad you are enjoying the job. It's very gloomy again here enjoy the sunshine while you can.
Addams - my Mother's Day card will be on my blog later today - just got to sort out the sentiment.
Mad Frog - Ouch! £1100 you could probably get a holiday for that let alone lots of stash - could you not get treatment on the NHS, if not getting it done means you could lose all your teeth?
Rusty - How's things going? made any progress to get the op done sooner?
We had a[STRIKE] day[/STRIKE] half day out yesterday to Lakeland - was going to be Windermere too but by the time we got there it was pouring with rain so we had lunch there, checked out all their goodies, spent a lot of ££ and came home. Sadly, all the purchases were domestic essentials.
We are going to Harrogate next week but I've just spotted that there's a craft fair at Leigh tomorrow wonder if I dare ask to be taken to that one too? - maybe not ..........0 -

Afternoon ladies, I'm just grabbing a few moments peace before four 8/9 year olds descend upon the house. It was DS1's birthday on Thursday and the OH has just gone to collect his mates. Because DS attends a "special class" for kids with learning difficulties his school is quite far away, plus he gets picked up and dropped off in a taxi so we never get to meet his friends or their parents. We've been trying for months to get in touch with the parents so that Leo can mix with his friends outside school but we've never had any replies. So we're so pleased that they're coming today - we always feel sorry for Leo because his brother has his school mates round. Hopefully it'll go okay today and then they can come round another time. OH spoke to one of the other Dads and he said he had been trying to arrange for his son to invite his friends over for ages too, but that the school hadn't been that helpful. You'd think their teachers would realise that the kids probably don't mix that much outside the school because of the nature of their problems and try to help more.
Plus my Dad and brother are visiting today too so we're going to have a right houseful - I'd better get making those sarnies soon!!! DS really liked his phone although the OH only managed to copy one song to it before we gave it to him so he keeps playing it over and over!!!
I really like the new LOTV stamps but I think I'll be good for a change. I always shy away from using images of animals, I think its because I'm never sure what colours to use.
Rainmac - I'm sure you'll be great at the job, stop worrying!!!!
Soma - huge congrats!!! I'm tempted to apply for some DTs myself I just don't think I'd have the time, I struggle to make a card a week as it is!!!
Artydoll - beautiful Tilda card!! Love the sparkly gems on the curtain and the glitter on Tilda's dress!!!
Louby-Lou-Lou - sorry to hear about DS - hope he is better today!!!
Flying_fresian - lovely anniversary card - fab image!
Jowri - glad to hear that your eye is a bit better - it sounds really painful!!!!
Rusty - I can't believe that they're making you wait so long for an operation that you so desperately need - what do the expect you to do in the mean time - its just stupid!!!!
Skiergirl - I hope the painkillers are working!!
Rawr - welcome to the thread!
Mad-frog - my word - that's some expensive dental treatment!!!!0 -
Mad Frog :eek: Whatever the treatment is I hope it works at that price
Marg - I was hoping to go to Leigh tomorrow but my leg still isn't good enoughDH did push me round the traffic centre yesterday in a wheelchair - he said it's one way to stop me running off and spending lots :rotfl:
Rainmac - glad you're enjpying the job so far
Melissa - good luck for today, hope DS has a great time x0 -

I've been wanting to buy the Sure Cuts A Lot software for a while - but have decided to hold off until I know what it is that provocraft are getting ready to release.
Thanks for sharing that have been looking at the SCAL I have just purchased the Gypsy which I love but do like the idea of the SCAL. I will wait now to see what Provocraft release:wave: Kate :hello:0 -

Looks interesting but from what I can gather it only allows you to use the cartridges from Cricut and if I have understood SCAL right in that you have far more choices - is that right can anyone confirm this for me as I don't know much about SCAL. Kate :hello:0 -
