I have had a rather mellow day and even though I was in work, it was actually very nice. I was taken out to lunch, by 2 of my colleagues, and I am currently waiting for son no 1 to arrive home who is treating me to a chinese.

Happy Birthday Georgiegirl , posted your card today sorry it's late, you share a birthday with my DH and I was running so late with making his cards that I forgot to post yours off.0 -
Has anybody used the Cricut design studio, is it worth the money? I gather it works the same as the gypsy but 1/4 of the price and you can use your own computer!Life is like a box of chocolates..........you always seem to pick the hard ones!0

Vici - I'm sure I read somewhere that cricut were coming up with something similar that would be free to all (might have seen it on the provocraft facebook page) so it's probably worth waiting - which is what I'm doiing. I've been wanting to buy the Sure Cuts A Lot software for a while - but have decided to hold off until I know what it is that provocraft are getting ready to release.0 -

Given that it was less than the price of a cartridge I downloaded the SCAL software the other day. My sister has confirmed she's giving me the George and Basic Shapes cartridge, so it could be that I never need to buy a cartridge.
Does anybody know what support Provocraft provide to those who don't buy new machines? And indeed what is the best website to research such things?0 -

Ali and Marg, the job is checking the validity/ appropraiteness of search engine results. Sounds rather dull but fits in with my mummy role beautifully so I can't complain x
Mel, can you take the dress back and use the £ for stash instead?
I made a HUGE jug of pancake batter and then only managed to grab one from my greedy gang! We had one of DS1's friend's for tea and he had maple syrup, lemon & sugar AND chocolate spread all on the same pancake. He liked it so much he had another of the same
I am currently up to my eyes organising the preschool easter egg hunt as when I asked for a volunteer from the committee to organise it, nobody came forward :wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0
