No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Yet again I haven't read anything much for what seems like ages - but just popping by to say that if you are Mo Manning's friend on FB you might want to go visit her profile sometime within the next 24 hours. Particularly if you like free background paper......0

I found an image of a girl praying, I've printed it and coloured it, just piecing it together now. Will upload to the usual place in the next hour for some opinions. I'm really toiling with this one....:eek:0 -
Evening ladies,
So sorry for being AWOL for such a long time, but I am guessing most of you know I am suffering a heck of a lot lately with the pain. There is an update on my blog, but the outcome of today is that the disc in my back has ruptured!! ....
I am fuming that people keep passing me from pillar to post, they don't seem to care that I can't walk and have to crawl when the pain gets too much, I just drop to the floor!! ... Some of you have seen me in pain (Ahem Flourgirl) and know just how bad things were last time ... well they are 100 times worse this timeand nothing is touching it! Dr has finally prescribed me some morphine for at home, but they werent touching the pain so he upped it to 30mg morphine twice a day ... I expect I will be sleeping through the next week or so, and when not sleeping will be so high I don't even know my own name, so I won't be around for a bit!
Just wanted to pop on and say I am still alive ... and have not killed any dr's yet!!
Also a big massive thanks for Rainmac, Dragonllew & The-Wife for the beautiful cards you have sent me, they mean so much to me, but I am getting a de-jah-vu from the last time :rotfl:
Hope to pop back in and out but will apologise if I can't, I do normally post updates on facebook and also blogger, which I can do easily from apps on my phone so will try and keep everyone up to date
Sorry for the short and sweet post ... time for a nap me thinks! hope everyone is ok? xxxRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Rusty - sorry you're having such a horrible time. Xxx0 -

Next question. Anyone know where I can by the new creativity mag online without having to pay a fortune in postage? After buying the pink expression I'm banned from going near a craft shop but i'm allowed to by the mag!
Edit: I've managed to print the images, my daughter got the first attempt however!
I posted at the weekend that Cutting Edge Crafts had them but they always go very quickly from there as they have free p+p. Bookmark them for the future, I always get mine from there, usually buying just the mag and nothing else, and haven't found anywhere else that does free p+p for such a small order. Next one is out May 1st and they usually have them on their website a day or two earlier.
Marg So very sorry to hear about Suzie, losing a pet is hard, they are such a big part of our lives and find their way deep into our hearts. Big hugs to you.
Rusty Sorry you've had such a hard time getting a diagnosis but hope you get treatment now they know what it is. My DH had a crushed disc many years ago (fire service injury which meant he had to "retire" through ill health even though he was only in his 30s). I remember very well how much pain he was in and the things he was unable to do himself because of the pain restricting his movement. He had a lumbar laminectomy (disc was removed) and once his recovery was complete he has been fine all these years. Maybe you will be offered similar treatment and that it will be an end to your pain. Gentle hugs to you.
Hugs to everyone else.0 -

Well there's not much going on here today! My Mum and sister came up to visit yesterday - it DS1's birthday on the 10th so they brought his presents up which I let him open, he got a few computer games and a lovely tracksuit off them. I can't believe he's going to be 9 soon - he's growing up so quickly and has apparently got two girlfriends already!!! He's getting harder and harder to but for - I've really struggled with things to get him this year - we ended up getting him a bike (the one that's given me a headache from argos) and a mobile phone, plus a few other bits!
Flourgirl - That was lucky that OH managed to get his phone back, or unlucky for him - I can't decide!!!!! I love pork pie too - it has to be pork farms though!
Flying_Fresian - Your card is perfect for a first confession - love the butterflies!!!!!
Marg - so sorry to hear about your cat.
Mad-frog - hope you have a good time.
Rusty - its good to hear from you - I hope the morphine helps, sending you gentle hugs too!
Artydoll - Fabulous Mother's Day cards - I don't think the wall looks big at all, and the purple and green colour combination looks lovely0
