Not funny at the time PepPop I thought my oranges were going to roll into the river!!:rotfl:

Oh I hope they didn't! Were you able to rescue them?

All safe and sound in the fruit bowl :)

Did you succumb to the free p&p at Glitterpot Rainmac? I only bought a butterfly punch. Might do a LOTV stamp order today though. Just waiting for my candles and lip balm to arrive from Frills and ? they are for my DIL birthday later this month.

Waiting to hear what colour I will be doing my sons wedding invites etc, it could be red, black or gold!!

now I've finished laughing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: is Flourboy actually allright?
I suppose duck poo is better than dog poo :D (glass half full here lol!)

Rainmac - I'm very very disappointed - shakes head in best DD lecturing pose - I'm going to list some stuff on eBay so it would technically be recycling when I buy that whiff of joy stamp ;)

I am sure Rusty won't mind me telling you but she has had an MRI scan this morning and results show she has a ruptured disc and the tissue is pressing on a nerve . I just can't imagine how painful that is :(:(:(.

I,m so glad that somebody has actually found out the cause of her pain  its been going on too long.
heres hoping they can do something about it now they know what's up .
thanks for letting us know, please pass on my hugs to her.

Flourgirl - Oh dear! poor flourboy - if I may call him that? it does seem appropriate. Love the idea of his parchute training! My DH has one but I can't remember him doing any training with it so in the event of actually needing it not sure it would be that useful? Though I hope it never comes to that. :rotfl:IYSWIM

Seriously, I do hope he is OK - a bit shocked I guess?

My first thought about your oranges was at least it's a fruit you will peel before eating - a bit Howard Hughes.:rotfl:

Hadn't realised Frills & Fondants did lip balm - might need to look again :)

Rainmac - does your fall from the wagon mean I can get some ESSENTIAL Copics? ;)

Lovely photo's craftygranny - Congratulations! Hope DIL is OK now. A friend of mine had similar problems after the birth of her daughter but has been fine since.

It's a sad day here today, we had to take our poorly cat Suzie to the vets to be put to sleep - it was awful.

For the first time in almost 35 years we are now without a cat. We have had a big tidy up of the utility room and are taking a big bag of cat food, feeding bowls, towels etc to the local pet rescue centre in a minute or so.....

Thanks for the update on Rusty. My disc bulges onto the nerve and that pain is enough, I can only guess what she's been through. Let's hope they get it sorted now xx

Well I've been "working" from home today ;) so I've managed to comment on bl*gs & add another card to mine. I might go mad & add something else else after I've made the tea.
Rainmac Thanks for the update on Rusty, I do hope they can ease her pain soon, she must be in absolute agony :(
Flourgirl, hope your OH is alright, sorry but I couldn't help but laugh at your description of it! :rotfl:
Marg, so sorry to hear about Suzie. Sending you hugs :grouphug:

Think I'm going to try & make something out of my Jamie Oliver cookbook for tea. Off to have look now as i'm not sure what to go for yet. I bet it takes me longer than 30 minutes to make whatever it is though! x

Flourgirl - hope your neck gets better soon - it sounds really painful!!!! Glad to hear that you had a good time, I love lemon meringue pie - I don't think I've ever made one!! I'm sorry too - I giggled at the parachute training comment!!!

Rainmac - congrats on your win - what a fab prize!!!!! Sorry to hear about your poor Nan, hope she recovers soon, I bet she'll love her card. Hopefully Rusty will get some relief now that they've seen the disc!

Irlrip - welcome back!!! I had a break from card making when I moved last year for a few months, but am now back - although I'm still only managing to make about one a week!!! Try looking on blogs for inspiration, although classes sound like a great idea!
