:hello:Hello creative cardmakers!
Just popping in to let you know that Tim Holtz is doing a TSV on QVC tonight at 12 for those of you that burn the midnight crafting oil!(Don't know what it is??)
Also he is on for 5 hours  tomorrow at various times throughout the day so those of you with half term kiddies (like me!) may have to wrestle with the TV remote.
Marg, I couldn't get to the PO with your blog candy today but its all ready to send tomorrow
qwiksave - no worries, your kiddies and your eyes are more important - how did you get on yesterday?
betterlife - not looked yet but thankyou!
flourgirl - cold & damp here too. What a shame for your DH. Sounds like the extraction will also be costly. I've not looked at TH stuff on TV yet but at those prices p'raps I wont bother.....but I've read on blogs he's worth a look...... Have a good day if you go to York or even if you don't x0 -
Morning all
Hope half term is going well. I am taxi driver again today!
Well done to all our winners.
Rusty - it sounds horrid what your ex did and he shouldn't have done it infront of your son! My Sister's ex was like that. Only one of the three kids sees him at all now and even she doesnt like going any more. One by one he has alienated them.
Mellissa - Glad your feeling better. Hope the bike saga gets sorted soon!
Flourgirl - I havent heard that word mardy for ages. I used to use it when I moved from Yorkshire to London and no body knew what it meant!
Hugs to all. xxMay - £251.63/£155, June - £108.69/£150, July - £157.45/£155, Aug - £104.28/£155
Sept - £110.80/£150, Make £5 a day in Oct challenge = £50.50/£1550 -
Morning all, hope everyone is well today and those of you with kiddies are managing to have a bit of a lay in .
Flying fresian I just clicked on your link and looked at the Tim Holtz stuff and I definately need my eyes testing, I read the £40.50 crossed out and then read £4.45 and thought WOW what a bargain!! then I realised that was the postage and the TSV price was at the top in orange:rotfl::rotfl: nearly had me one of those just to play. Maybe I should stop buying stash and spend the cash on some new specs:rotfl:
Rainmac I hope Rusty hasn't sent you cold pizza:rotfl: I bet its something much more yummy.
Cold Raining and foggy here in South Yorkshire:( Maybe a trip to York is on the cards, we should have gone yesterday but on Sunday night DH broke a tooth eating a Ryv1ta. Shouldn't be so healthy should he, he wouldn't have done it on chocolate!! Anyway it was an emergency appointment yesterday £45  and he has to go and have it taken out at a specialized dentist, miles away:( No cornish pasties for him at the weekend!!
Your post had me in fits from start to finish :rotfl::rotfl: ... poor OH ... although serves himself right for being healthy :rotfl:
and no I haven't sent rainmac cold pizza!
I meant to say yesterday I won a paid of tickets for SECC in Glasgow ... OH is going to take me up and we will probably have children in tow, not ideal but not sure I can manage the drive and the walk, will have to take my stick as it is!! .... looking to go on the sat!!
Melissa - hope you are feeling better today ... can you tell me the best place for October afternoon pads please?? they seem to vary in price lots and I want 2 or 3 at a reasonable price!!
Soma - Glad you heard back from one of the DT, your work is lovely, you sound as bad as me for the lack of confidence in your work .... I think we are our own worst critics!
Right things to do ... like wrap a pushchair in bubble wrap :rotfl:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Thanks Marg. I saw a 3rd doctor yesterday and I have another prescription which was working great yesterday. This morning they didn't look quite so good but then I was up half the night watching QVC!I have been wondering whether it might be an allergy to some cheap reading glasses I got recently so have stopped wearing them.
I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0 -
Melissa Hope you're feeling better today
jowri I'm so sorry to hear about your parents' dog. Huge hugs from me
Louby Great card! Great save with the glitter too
Vic Sorry I've not had a chance to send those boxes to you yet, I've not been able to get to the post office. I'll do it this week for you.
Rusty What a nightmare!! - sending you hugs
Flourgirl OUCH! :rotfl::rotfl: at the healthy comment and yup you're so right - chocolate wouldn't have done it :rotfl:
OK back to work - catch you later0 -
morning
Rusty and Flourgirl thanks for the vote of confidence - it's nice to know other people feel the same way. I'm starting to feel a bit mardy too!
Qwiksave hope you feel better soon
Rusty have fun at the craft show. I don't go to craft shows anymore as I spend far too much. I am planning to go to Aintree this year but that's really to catch up with friends.
Tim Holtz is good looking but the TSV isn't so fantastic. I'm looking forward to seeing some demonstrations from Sir Tim tho today. I'm starting to mess around with my craft stuff a bit more so I may go even more distressed!0 -
Morning, I had an awful night's sleep and feeling sorry for myself
. Going for a chinese with outlaws and family tonight and I could so do without it and just curl up in front of the telly. My car has another s*dding puncture so need to get that sorted, job for tomorrow I think.
Rusty, your ex is a bleep, bleeping BLEEP  How dare he do that in front of your lil man. Hope you are in less pain today and my postman in the van has just delivered my pizza box and yep no pizza but loads of gorgeous craft stuff, you've so cheered me up today, thank you. You do know I will never be able to use those papers, far too gorgeous xxx
Mel, hope you're feeling much better today xxx
Flourgirl, I had bad news at the dentist yesterday, apparently I have broken the back of a tooth that I had a root canal in years ago and need it filled/built up and maybe crowned. Sounds £££ and painfulI will steer clear of Ryvita if they can do that to your teeth
Hope your OH is ok about the extraction. I love it that my dentist has charged me already for what she's gong to do in a month's time  That's like going to the supermarket and them telling you to pay for what you will be picking up next week *rolls eyes* :rotfl:
I am officially going on a STRICT stash ban, far too much money going out in bills - car, dentist blah blah blahAnyone want to join in? I have bought loads recently so should have enough stash to keep me going for quite a while
Hugs to everyone x:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -

"Marg - ooh I'll keep an eye out for you (oh poo if only I knew what you looked like:D)"
Ali.b - ditto!
Soma - your cards are lovely.
Rusty - :rotfl:at the thought of pushchairs in bubblewrap! Please take care you don't do any more damage to your back. Hope it improves for your Glasgow w/end.
Rainmac - sorry you aren't feeling well, could you try to have a nap this afternoon or at least veg out in front of kids TV? Cheeky b****y dentist:eek:. I can join the stash ban but only 'til I go to Harrogate mmm...... about a month, might be able to do that......
qwiksave - good thinking about the glasses ?metal frame? I have to be careful with non gold earrings and wear them for a very short time only or I get a rash.
Wifey - How are you? getting better I hope? Did your son get sorted?0 -
aaaaw how fab of you guys :blushing: I love checking out your blogs too and seeing your fantastic creations. If only I could have holiday every week so I can keep up with this thread and blog commenting lol!
Marg have fun at Harrogate - might join you if I have enough cash.0
