I just got me some Elzybells stamps on ebay :j then realised as I was bidding it was someone on here selling them :rotfl:
Does anyone else have any unwanted elzybells stamps they want to sell to a new home? if so can you PM me please? I wish I had bought more when they were closing down!
Marg - in reply to your comment on my blog ... yes they were my last rolos, well at least they were the only 2 left by the time me and Maddison had sneakily ate the rest, she kept it a secret from Thomas as he was at school :rotfl:Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

betterlife Glad your LO is picking up phew! you must be so relieved. Congrats on your digi orders! Can I ask a cheeky question - do you draw them and scan them or draw them straight onto your comp - I've done a couple but I do them the first way and was wondering if it would be worth while buying a tablet and pen?
yes, i just draw them by hand on paper, you need to outline them with a good fine pen (i use gel pens from whsmiths) then scan, i have thought about getting graphics tablet, but i do like hand drawn it seems more individual as tablet drawings the lines are so perfect
i feel the way i do it gives a more stamped appearance if you no what i mean?? but i think i will prob get one sometimeOne day I will live in a cabin in the woods0 -

Yeah I know what you mean - I don't want them looking too clean but I find when I scan them there's lots of little marks and I spend ages cleaning them up on Photoshop - that's why I was thinking about a tablet. Maybe it's the pens I'm using - thanks for the tips. :beer:0 -

Peppop, just a thought but Memento do a double ended ink pen, I have one which I use for touching in bits of stamps if it doesn't stamp right, it has a fine end, and a brush end (like a copic) would something like that help you?
Off to bake some cookies ... I will get this silicone portion to work if it kills me!!! ... yesterday there was only enough mixture for 4 and it raised well over the top!! whoops!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

OK I'm having a stoopid moment - am I right in saying that you use waterbased ink to use alcohol based pens and vice versa?? I've just notice that Joanna Sheen sell the fineliners I used to use for sketching and they're waterbased. AARGH I'm confused???!?!?0 -
