    Hi ladies,

I've been absent for a bit as this thread is too tempting when it comes to spending pennies and I'm trying the Frugal Living Challenge this year  As I work in financial services, I'm worried I might lose my job at some point this year so I'm trying to be good and save money - and this lovely thread alerts me to all the stash I didn't know I needed :rotfl:

I haven't been making as many cards recently as work has been hectic, but this week I found it quite relaxing to get the stash out and make something after work so I have managed to do five cards (four of which I'm being paid for!!) and have linked them in the usual place :D

I won't be around much but I'll pop in when/if I make something as I like to see what you all think of my efforts as you're all so much more talented than me!

Hope everyone is well. Hugs to all who need them and well done to all the winners I've missed :D:D

CT - how cheeky is that with your hours!!I always presumed if you were quoted 25 hours when you did take it then thats how many you work without breaks etc!

Flourgirl - thanks, willl have a look around for some!

craftygranny - sounds like both young princess' are doing well

Peppop - Finger is very very sore this morning, I keep knocking the end of it and it really hurts, my MIL dressed it properly last night, but I can't see how I am going to keep it dry :rotfl:

Marg - Glad that was the one ;) I only remembered as one of the DT girls I work with is also on the DT for Meljens!

Cardpaperscissors - Hope your pain eases soon for you!

Peppop - Go on admit that its not that you hate people standing behind you, but the fact you have your back to the wall is so that you can see who is coming and pretend to look like you are working and not surfing the net :rotfl:

Flying Fresian - Nice to see you back :j

Morning all :D ... I had an email off Kerry last night (owner of LCI) anyway she sent this link There is a whole review of her stand at CHA and lots of pictures, I can see a few of my samples which I made :j ... this person has an awful lot of followers so fingers crossed the review does some good.

Got some DT samples to make today for Stitches in Birmingham using new images :j so hoping my finger allows me to do so as it is unbelievably sore ... there is a post on my blog which shows my valentines iPod and my poorly finger all bandaged up!

Hope you all have a good day!

  • hi everyone, little one is much better today, still coughing but temp back to normal and he`s up to mischief again so always a good sign. (thank goodness) so today my kitchen needs a serious tidy (as no-one else is obviously capable of tidying!!!) and i need to go grocery shopping.
rusy i hope your finger is better soon, sounds bad did you get it checked out?? and well done on the card order.
that hot choc looks yummy, im a fan! we always take a flask when we go out for a walk as the kids love it, and it warms you up quickly this time of year.
i will catch up with thread later, must TIDY!!!! then design some more digi`s, ive had requests for boy characters, and am doing a whole range of christian digi`s for an american lady who has a faithbooking website, she is paying extra for the right to resell them! (but i can aswell). xxx

betterlife Glad your LO is picking up phew! you must be so relieved. Congrats on your digi orders! Can I ask a cheeky question - do you draw them and scan them or draw them straight onto your comp - I've done a couple but I do them the first way and was wondering if it would be worth while buying a tablet and pen?

Glad your little one is picking up, I have ignored the tidying up all week, been too busy crafting, but I must make an effort this afternoon/tomorrow, although I have to go shopping tomorrow morning to get the stuff for the meal I am cooking OH on sat night, with him working away we cook a meal on the Sat night and the kids are bathed and put to bed so we can relax together :) ... Good idea for the boys/men images, there are places you could grab inspiration from, if you need any ideas I am sure we could give you some for inspiration! Well done on your christian digi's, that could be a very big order for you!

    Peppop :rotfl: got you sussed!!

Just finished another card ... I am on a roll lately!! musn't complain in case my mojo runs away!! for those who don't know there is a freebie on Karens Doodles website, its a basket of flowers, I am thinking mothers day cards!! I love freebies!

Time to go pick up DD!
