:rotfl:just told OH this. He said that when he was about 8/9 the teacher asked what a period was and he said 'my mum has them'!!!
congratulations on your win glittermum
just had my card details nicked - thought I'd warn you guys to be careful as its the first time its ever happened to me. It's a pain in the bum not being able to get cash out cos my card has been cancelled.
welcome to the newbies, hope you enjoy your new [STRIKE]addiction[/STRIKE] hobby0 -
Soma - spooky but I had my details nicked this week too. They only took 3 payments of £3 so I'm glad I noticed before they tried to take any more. My bank have been fab about it though - I should be getting my new card tomorrow - I've got to learn all my numbers again now!0

My son just laughed at that and said not just me then. I think he thought he was the only one who ever said owt that daft and felt so foolish afterwards. lol:D
cardpaperscissors . I thought of doing that to my stamps but the length of time it would take puts me off . I did buy 12 a5 binders and 500 pockets to start it though and almost 12 months later they are still in the boxes they came in.
At the moment i have the sets stored in a5 plastic wallets and single stamps in smaller ones and then have them stored upright in baskets so i can flip through but i can't remember what i have so i think filing them will be better just need to bite the bullet and do a few a day i think.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
New challenge finish birth sampler by end of the month

artydoll, ive pmed you. well ive nearly finished the cake, im absolutely shattered! ive had a banging head all evening, and my 2yr old has worn me ragged tonight aswell, he`s never been a great sleeper and since moving from cot to bed ive had to sing him to sleep every night which normally takes about 10mins, but today he fell asleep during the day (didnt notice cause i was baking) so it would of taken about an hour tonight aghhhh, so i thought i`d put a dvd on in his bedroom (as he shares with older sister) well he`s been n and out of bed all evening, so ive been up and down the stairs like a yoyo as oh decided to have a bath! this is all whilst trying to decorate the cake. i must never try to copy buddy from cake boss again lol, he makes it look so easy, i coloured my icing baby pink then after putting on cake decided to give it a quilted effect with my pastry cutter, the first few lines went well then it all got a bit wonky lol, will pop a coloured ball at each cross section tomorrow, bottom of cake is a bit messy but i have a nice wide ribbon to cover that, and hopefully by the time they cut the cake everyone will be a bit tiddley they wont notice lol. anyway will finish in morning, as i need to watch true blood now! have a good evening every xxxxOne day I will live in a cabin in the woods0

Morning ladies, missed the last 6 pages will try and get caught up later we went to Sarah Millican (comedian) up at Newcastle last night and she was brilliant - just a bit tired this morning - aagh cant do late nights these days:o.
Anyhoo, not sure if this has been mentioned but nipped into hobbycraft yesterday (just for a mooch - honest!!) and they have 20% off their 5 pack of promarkers taking them down to £7.70 something - I havent checked internet prices lately so not sure how they compare but just wanted to let you know - the grey packs were begging me to buy them - but due to economy drive had to ignore their shouts.
Party runs today so will try and catch up later - enjoy your day ladies xx0 -

If you're after Promarkers try Cowling & Wilcox, Peppop posted a free delivery code a couple of weeks ago. Delivery is really fast too.
My txs for the Hobbycrafts show arrived today - so need to start making a list of needs so that I don't get there next week and feel totally overwhelmed.
Tomsmum - I take it no package from me still? I'm going to put in yet another complaint - I bet the cheeky so n so's send me more postage stamps! Just wish they'd sort out the sorting office as it would appear that the problem lies there!
Hope everyone is well and safe. x0
