Hi Rusty Thank you A4 card will be fine but there's no hurry. (see below) Hope little miss gets better very soon poor thing x Oh & I sent you an email did you get it?

That strange noise you can hear is me wallowing in self pity! I've got to go into hospital tomorrow for an emergency op to repair a (badly) detached retina. They do it with a gas bubble in my eye which means I can't fly so our impending holiday will have to be cancelled. Boo Hoo! Not quite sure how my sight will be affected or for how long so could be MIA for a bit. Hope it wont be long....

Sorry, would love to post more but I've got to go pack my bag.

    Hugs to you all x

Hope your op goes well,my OH had to have the same op a few years back,he had to keep his head still for about a week,:eek:he was allowed home though.Sorry you had to cancel your trip but your eyesight comes first.

Thanks to all who has commented on my blog, its very encouraging,I will make a card soon ,I promise.:T

Thanks he's actually applied to the army and is just waiting for his the dates for his selection weekend. If he gets in then he'll have to do 16 weeks training, which starts in March so the temporary job will keep him in work until then!

Ooh but the new BG pad is sooo pretty lol i've resisted ordering it coz i've started tidying my stash and realised just how much paper I have oops lol
Was that Big Fat Gypsy Wedding? It's like another world - I can't quite believe some of their customs (particularly the whole grabbing thing).

Wifey sorry to hear about your op being cancelled. After what i've witnessed in the last year I have absolutely no faith in the NHS anymore.

Flourgirl great news about the commision for Wedding Invites though I always find making cards harder when the recipient doesn't really know what they want but i'm sure they'll love what you've come up with...

Oh no poor little thing - I had that and was doubled over in pain for a week! I hope she gets better soon. Have they given her to stope her being sick? I think I had Cyclozine xxx

Hey Lei, good luck to your OH. :j fab news :)

I also love the new BG pad but just haven't bothered to order it as yet as I am seriously trying to use up my old papers before buying new, except failing miserably as I bought 3 Bo Bunny ones last week!
She seems a lot better this morning, she came running in the bedroom cheering that she hadn't been sick in her bed, then realised Daddy was home and jumped on him :rotfl: fingers crossed she is on the mend! :j She wasn't sick all day, it was just through several nights, during the day she was fine? its confusing!

  • Morning ladies - just signed up as a Stampin Up demo - mainly because there is a brill offer on at the moment, but also to source a load of card for the wedding invites I'm doing - 65 wedding invites, 65 Orders of Service and 130 little menus and place names! Might look at strying to do it a bit more seriously as time goes by but it's quite exciting really!

Wifey - had a look at that CD - surely it can't be legal doing that?
  • Rainmac - congrats on being an Aunty
Rusty -congrats on DD feeling a bit better!

Thanks for thinking of me - i don't think you can use those with the cuttlebug though can you?

I'm not sure - I think Craftfairy used that kind through her bug on her blog so it might work.

Marg OUCH! That sounds really painful and BOO at you having to cancel your holiday. Sending you healing hugs

PONR I didn't realise at first it was the bride dancing - I thought it was one of her sisters. It was the wee girl in her communion dress I felt sorry for. It was when she was trying to walk in it because of the weight - poor wee soul.

craftygranny My mum can't see either so when I make her cards I embellish it to death so she can feel all the different bits. I emboss, use glitter card, anything with a texture. Don't know if that helps.

Lei That's great news about your OH - will you need to move once he's finished his training?

    Aunty Rainmac:j:T:j:T:j:T
