For buttons I just thread either some thin ribbon or string through the button holes and just knot it on the top hth I know some people use dental floss
Just had a look at your card I wondered if a circle of colour behind the doily might help other than that it looks fab0 -
PepPop - it is a gorgeous card but why would you pay so much for it????? I've noticed too that toppers seem to sell better than actual cards - I have thought about making some and listing them - I've just never got round to it - I doubt I'd get £36 though!!!!!
Rusty - Yeah it was nice not to have to leave the house! OH still hasn't gone done yet for the operation - they wanted him to stay in but he's been moaning that he wants to go home. No - I don't iron sheets either!!
KMS26 - gorgeous blue card - I love the little arrangement of flowers at the bottom. Love your pink card too especially the doily!0 -

No problem, the paper is a thin-ish coated card from Ryman's, I now use it for all my stamping and Promarkers don't bleed or anything. Much cheaper than the digital cardstock you can buy

It's beautiful but good grief it's a lot of money. I know they take a lot of time but even so. I wouldn't say no to that price if someone was mad enough to pay it.
