Mel, I bought the 9L boxes but may need a couple more. I'm thinking of buying one of the flat 12x12 boxes to keep all work in progress, as I don't have a craft room or really even a designated craft area I tend to keep bits all over the place. It would be handy to keep it all together.

DS2 has been better today, we are possibly going to try a playcentre tomorrow morning as his temperature is now under control.

    Hello, hello!

Just a quickie (again) from me - I've been busy busy busy so had no time to make anything apart from a calendar for my desk at work.
Looking for a bit of advice.
One of our pta members today collared me at the school gate to ask whether I had anything that could cut tissue paper into hearts - about an inch or so high. I don;t have anything suitable but sounds like a good excuse to buy something to me. #Can anyone recommend a die for a plain-ish heart - it's for Mothers Day gifts

Keep up the good work - I always read this thread but don't often have time to post. My new years resolution is to be kinder to myself so I'm not going to beat myself up about it but I do miss you girlies sometimes

  • Hi dtb nice to see you . I don't have any heart dies to recommend either i have a heart punch but it's bigger than that it's one of the fiskars squeeze ones.

Anyone know where there are k&co papers/paper pads at a good price i have a couple but would love loads more lol. I used some earlier for a card for a neighbour and the paper was fab .great quality .

Rusty i hope things start picking up for you soon.

Rainmac good luck with the tidying my oh says he's going to leave me in my room for a week in the hope it will be tidier. lol I need to empty it completely for him to add new workspace and i keep putting off starting . I've sorted 1 shelf so far .

  • Morning everybody - think I'd best go to work before I'm tempted to spend more money on crafty stuff.

Might get dressed before I go as well

Morning all, thanks for all the wishes for me and the kidlets, they have gone back to school and nursery and both slept through from 7pm to 7:15am! so they are both feeling better. apparently I should have kept Maddison off for 48 hours but hey ho, she will have picked up the big from there so she can take it back LOL whoops thats not nice is it? well neither is a sleepless night and 6 loads of dirty sicky sheets which need washing!!

I managed to finish off a card yesterday using one of the freebie stamps, and it is auto scheduled to post later on this week!! Again I can't remember all I have read, I am so sorry I feel so ignorant not sure if it is these new tablets or not! I did however keep the matress topper off our bed and slept just on the firm matress last night and touch wood I am in a lot less pain than normal so hoping that will help a lot, but I am still waiting for the agonizing crippling pain to come back at any point!

Rainmac - Those RUBS are great for stash, mine is just chucked in everywhere though, I have units for mine like wifey, the wooden ones although still have stash in cardboard boxes and big plastic ones aswell whoops! :o right off to try and catch up on blogs whilst I have 5 minutes spare!!

Wifey Thanks for the image, I am doing a project just for me

Wanna B Huge congratulations on your weight loss, are you going to treat yourself to a crafty treat to celebrate? ;)

Melissa I only bought five I feel positively saintly now :ponly because all the colours I wanted were out of stock!

Rusty 6 washing loads  you have my sympathy, don't worry about not being able to remember stuff it happens to all of us when real life gets in the way

Georgiegirl It was while I was at work that I did my mammoth order this week, only because it's quiet on nights and the IT gestapo have banned everyone from looking at blogs etc.

Rainmac You can come and tidy my craft room too if you want, I have no idea where I am going to cram all my new goodies into
