Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Dunno where the last couple of days have gone. Fortunately only got 3 more days in work because I've booked Friday off (QVC Craft day is purely co-incidental)
As somebody who said they would never buy those CDs they sell of C&C because "it's cheating* (apologies to anybody who buys and uses them regularly) I have to say I am now a convert. Went exploring and discovered I had one, so had a bit of a look, and have made a card, which I think is rather lovely - if you want to see it you know where to look.
Beddy byes now

Oh sorry I missed the offers of sending stash as well as a card, I don't know.. what do you all think? I am just asking as she is in hospital but then I guess it might be something for her to do a distraction type of thing?
I have completely forgotten everything else I have read sorry, my brain doesn't work too well when I am on nights
Going to try and catch up on blogs now and also going to try not to click on any links as I can't buy anymore pretty things0 -
Hi all, sorry I have been MIA!! I have read but know I have forgotten everything. My brain is frazzled in pain and now frazzled again as I have finally given up on sleep!! Thomas has been poorly, and put both kids to bed just before 7 and tried to get an early night around 9pm, then Maddison has been up several times since covering beds and floors with sick!! Argh! I am officially a wreck and need help!! LOL anyone want to come help me put clean sheets on my mega massive bed?? I cant do it on my own cause it is too big and hurts me too much, OH normally does it at weekends GRRR!
Will try and catch up again properly but no promises! sorry!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Rusty - sounds like your household has been hectic. Hope it improves soon.
Mad frog - I will try and get a card done if I have time, but cant promise. I have alot on this week.
I was thinking of not putting a sentiment on and just writing thinking of you inside if that helps anyone.
Have work again today. Dont finish work till 5.30pm and then need to be at a governors meeting by 6pm! So dinner will be a bit hit and miss today. Oh well I'm sure everyone will survive!

yes i read a lot of the thread and i think she would like the distraction although she said she isn't in the crafty mood once she has some stash she may feel up to trying as she didn't seem too keen when someone suggested she went shopping even for food so she won't go and get craft things.
I will send you a card first i think then we will see about stash shall we? Because then we could send it her once she is home so you don't have to fork out for a large postage.:)Mummy to 2 wonderful boys

Mad-Frog - bet the postman will love you this week - all those parcels!!! I've still to get the new MME paper pads but I will do soon! I think I agree with Louby - maybe send the cards first and then when she's home send her the stash.
Lizalloareds - I'm very impressed that you cut the sentiment out - mine would have looked a right mess!
Louby-Lou-Lou - I was wondering the same thing about the card - I wasn't sure what to write inside.
Georgiegirl2012 - thanks for the info on QVC I might tape a few shows - I haven't watched anything crafty for ages. Gorgeous blue card - love the butterflies!
Rusty - poor you!!! I hope the waves of vomit have sudsided now!!!
Well done to the latest winner!!!0 -
Louby I agree with you, have been having a think about it and I don't think she is in the right place at the moment. Hopefully we can cheer her up when she is better and gets to go home and hopefully just put a smile on her face with cards at the moment, oh don't worry about postage costs I have 'borrowed' my brothers free stamps off him as he is a postie and gets loads free each year

I was sort of good not buying things last night until I went on Rainmac's bl*g and remembered I needed the pink pettycoat ribbon sentiments, so I had to buy them... twas Rainmac's fault

Rusty Aw hugs to you hope the pain gets better soon, would offer to help you with the bed changing but that is one of my pet hates!0 -
Thanks Melissa
