Giggle Yep I would complain too. That's a disgrace treating a little boy like that - poor wee soul no wonder he doesn't want to go to school anymore

    Giggle,

I would definitely make a complaint, if it is out of school hours then she should not be telling him off in school, in fact she should not be telling him off at all, she should have spoken to his parents first to get the facts straight, my ds is 8 as well, tbh if she had done that to him I would have gone in all guns blazing ( being the very protective mum that I am) and probably ripped her head off,

    take care

    Bitsy -
Rusty - thanks for that on Dainty etc. will have a think about whether to go up or not - dont want to have a wasted journey - might hang on and next time I go to the MetroCentre I will call enroute.
Giggle I think the dinnerlady was out of order as well she should have said something to him at the time he did it (if he did??) or had a word with his parents but not with him like that at school.

Well off for a soak in the bath - I think all my new years resolutions have been broken , so far I've not been managing to keep up to date on here and commenting on blogs, only made 1 card (not blogged yet) oh yes and that trying to blog more regularly :(

Giggle, the dinner lady is totally out of order and needs to be reported asap to the school. She has no right to accuse him of any wrongdoing during school hours and should have just enquired of his name. She might find that she is going to be in 'hot water' over this especially knowing how a dinnerlady informed a child's parents about the bullying of their child that was going on and was sacked for it, it's a local issue to me.

The second issue of the actual bullying, you must first ask the head of the school (don't be fobbed off with anyone else) what the policy is of the school on bullying and then let her/him have it straight from the hip. Obviously there was no-one in the playground observing what was going on, it didn't happen in a split second. Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

  • Does anyone know where I can get a cheap mini wooden easel from. Ikea used to do them cheap and I know I had one years back but got rid of it!!!! I've seen lots of people using them to display their cards when photographing and would like one!! I've looked on ebay but they seem too small or packs of 2 and high postage. Anyone got any alternative ideas???
