  • Welcome back Mad frog
Georgiegirl love the stocking up piccy, we went halves with my mum on toilet roll from costco yesterday

Flying fresian i got info in the post today for the craft fair at the SECC, if i go it will be on the sunday and i will get my ticket using my clubcard vouchers

My son's think stocking up is hysterical. I have another couple of pics there now, although not yet a valentine one - I will do that tomorrow, although I was rather hoping to have my sizzix order before I did it, but I don't think that's likely.

I got info about exhibitions as well today, and my first show of the year is most likely to be Quilts UK in Malvern. They cancelle.d the craft show in Cardiff last year because it clashed with the Ryder Cup.

I'm sure I was going to respond to somebody else, but can't remember - very tired, might go to bed.

  • Evening ladies (and gents?)
I would like to join you in making cards, hope I can jump into this thread.
I was thinking today about making birthday cards and it occurred to me that I've never made one :o The cards I've always made were for Christmas so am a wee bit stuck for inspiration :o
I don't blog and it appears lots of you do so I am hoping to pick up some inspiration and talent via osmosis on here ;)

Hello Bitsy and welcome from another newbie. Lots of inspiration and money spending opportunities here! I've surprised myself and started a blog - something I never thought I'd be able to do. Hope you're soon dashing off some birthday cards.

Rusty - just wondering if you know I think I have read in the past that you have been to Dainty supplies at washington r they also the imagination (?) place as well - I just saw something on the internet I think for them and it said in Washington and wondered if they were at the same place??

Hellooooo .... I have been to both Daintys and also to Imag-e-nation, they are both on the same trading estate and as you go in Daintys is first, then follow the road round and inag-e-nation is just round the back, easy to spot :D ... Be warned that daintys is not always cheaper so if you are going to look for something specific then check your prices first, they do sometimes have bargains though ;) as for imag-e-nation, thats quite good in there, but it is mainly peel offs :D

Heading to bed so will catch up properly tomorrow :j hoping my new cuttlebug will come soon!

  • Can anyone help please? I've entered my first challenge today (LOTV - New Beginnings) and have seen some other challenges that I could enter with the same card. One being the Simon Says Stamp challenge. I can't quite work out how to link the Simon Says site/challenge post on my sidebar. I get the Add a Gadget page but don't know which option to select. I did manage to post about two blog candies but they had photos to upload.

    Hope that's made sense.

Hope everyone's had a good day today. I'm off to Hobbycraft (again) tomorrow with two card-making friends. I hope we won't be fighting each other in the aisles for all the bargains.

I've not stamped on it so not sure. The cheap card from Poundland is not too bad but not the best!

I got my sizzix despatch email today so hopefully should receive the parcel in the next day or so!!!

Hiya - if you go to my homepage and scroll down to where it says pages onthe left hand side, I have instructions for this to help you!

Edit - Just re-read your post - are you sure that the challenge says to link it in your sidebar?? Usually you just type on the bottom of the post with the card in that you are entering and then put the link in the challenge blog's name.

Oo thank you. I'll have a quick look now but probably won't have a go until tomorrow as DH making 'Isn't it about time for bed' noises. Well he has got to get up early for work I suppose.
    Thanks again.
