Making cards - Ideas (part 5)

Hi ladies
Thanks for the replies, I was asking about that die as my OH's uncle has got engaged and they have asked me to do the invites for the engagment party. She saw a particular one she liked and asked me to recreate it  and it has one of those frames on it. They need 80ish invites so i would need to make sure they were all the same, so i have ordered a load of die cuts of them.
The other problem i have now is they have a sheer flower and pins on it, the pins that look like dressmaker pins with pearls on them. Any ideas where i can get any sheer flowers and pins from?0 -

Congrats on the commission. These might be of interest http://www.sewingworld.co.uk/Clover_Pins.html but applique pins are short, so you might need longer ones, and you might find them cheaper elsewhere. Can't help on the flowers though.
I may have an outlet for some of my cards, and given that I've only got about half a dozen, it won't maintain my ProMarker habit, but it's a start - I'll keep you informed.
And I've been a little bloggerliscious this evening, but only a little. There are photos ........
EDIT - better link here - http://www.sewessential.co.uk/Category.asp?CategoryID=181&NumPerPage=5&page=1 there is the option of applique pins, bridal pins and hat pins0 -

Some pins here just scroll down a little. They sell flowers too but not sure about the ones you need. I'll keep looking though.

I think the seller Padster uses is this one but I think they only sell Mulberry ones. The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

Giggle - I didn't have a candy buffet as such, but a pick and mix table that had various glass vases from IKEA on that had different sweets in, all my favourites = bonbons; cola cubes; roses; cola bottles, haribos, jelly babies etc, there were about 20 vases and so people could pick and mix and put their selections in some pink stripy paper bags. I got all the sweets from Makro. Not sure if I have photos, but will have a look if you like?2016 is the year I am going to find time for me, and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. It is also time to save - Aim £4,000 - So far this year - £230/£4,0000
