    Santa was good to me....

Santa-friend got me a pack of Promarkers and a Little Claire stamp (Woo!) and Santa-mama got me a Cuttlebug :D:D:D

I didn't have time to play with it last night (when I received it) and am too tired today, but will hopefully get time tomorrow to experiment and then I suspect my main expense will be folders and dies :rotfl::rotfl: All recommendations gratefully received!

Just got back after being away from home since the 23rd but wanted to nip on and say thanks to PepPop for my lovely Christmas gifts. Especially the Cosmo Cricket Paper (that was one of my top 3 presents after a Radley handbag and some promarkers from "&son").
Christmas has been nice but I am so glad to be back home in my own house and whilst I love my family deeply 7 days without a break was perhaps pushing it a bit! Final straw was when "&son" lost the car keys at the supermarket when we were about an hour from home. Took us 45 mins to find them!

Finally found a minute to catch up here.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas. I went down with the flu on Christmas day, managed about 1/2 my dinner and then spent 2 days in bed. Feeling much better now, that I have managed to do a bit of crafting that was not a card!

Got a couple of new gadgets for the robo and a friend bought me some 3d embellishements which I thought was quite sweet of her. Managed to find some of the Lidl card today, so bought a couple of packs as it is really good quality card.

Thank you to whoever sent me my secret santa present it arrived safely, and I love all the bits that were included. The papers are gorgeous, love the sparkly alphabets. If you want to let me know who sent it, then I'd love to send you a proper thank you card.

My blog is in desparate need to updating haven't been near it in well over a month, so will put some things on it over the next few days, as although not blogging I was busy crafting in the run up to Christmas. Ended up making over 75 christmas cards, and 35 cards for some of my family and friends for christmas as part of their presents. They were really well received. Not sure I will have the patience to make Christmas cards next year, as they are so time consuming. That's take my total of handmade cards for 2010 to over 450 .

Been dying to have a go at making a desk calendar from a calendar tab and beer mats and after 5 hours of faffing about with pretty papers and an assortment of embellishments I am really pleased with my attempt that will sit on my desk at work. Wasn't sure what to use to hold it all together, until I found some very old/cheap large hoop earrings and they look perfect. Next on my list is to try out the sock monkeys.

Hugs to everyone especially - bunbun (hope the antibiotics kick in soon); Mary and CGC and her family.

    xx

www.sizzix.co.uk currently have an "up to 80% off" sale. The p&p is about £6.95, but some of the embossing folders are down to about £2, so by the time you bought 2 dozen of them then you've more than paid for the postage. I'm pretty sure the sizzix dies work on most of the other machines, but you might want to get confirmation from somebody else.

I desperately want to invest in some, as Santa-brother paid for a Big Shot Express for me.:T

Sizzix dies all work in the bug except the Bigz ones for which you would need to get some extra large plates I think. I've used Quickutz, Bosskut, Nesties, Sizzix and Cuttlebug dies so far in mine and all work fine.

On the Provocraft site they have a compatibility chart - will see if I can find the link for you. Here it is.
