Hello all
Had a little splurge on the sizzix sale. Needed some embossing backgrounds and got some very cheap on there. P & P is £4.90 though, so only worth it if you are ordering a few things.
Welcome sparrer, I'm sure you will be a convert once you get started!

I was put off by the postage price on the Sizzix site, it was not clear what the postage was until I went to check out and I was annoyed I had wasted ages on the site as it kept crashing and I ended up not ordering because of the high charge as it didn't make the bargain prices such a bargain for me!! Such a shame they have really high postage. Still saved me some money lol!The E-mail of the species is more deadly than the mail.0 -

The coloured card is good value - slightly larger than A4, 25 sheets all different colours and 270gsm for only £1.99 so I brought five packs! x0 -
I hate to be an Evil Temptress, but Cowling and Wilcox still have really good prices on their Promarkers (£1.69 for individual pens, £4.95 for sets of 5) and have free delivery until the end of December with this code PROM111.
I may have just added to my collection....:o0 -

I read on another Forum (not connected to MSE) about the Hobbycraft sale. The Slice was reduced down to £49 and DCWV packs for only £2.99. I couldn't get my coat and boots on quick enough and off I went! BIG MISTAKE!! So if anyone from the Newcastle area is thinking of going to Hobbycraft at Teams Valley - forget it! They have nothing relating to what stores further down South appear to have had. No paperpacks reduced - not even the ones that were £2.99 in other stores - they were still full price in this store. No slice - I was told they hadn't had it for ages. All in all a total waste of time going plus I sat in traffic for 40 minutes just trying to get into the Retail Park! In fact the few meagre offerings in their sale was absolutely nothing that would tempt me! The staff were nice though and I bought 3 balls of wool and a knitting pattern - all at full price:( !!0 -

You are an evil evil woman. I have been soooooooo good and not spent on Cowling and Wilcox tonight, neither have I spent on sizzix, but I have just spent $15 (£9.98) on a set of 5 digi stamps which have 3 princesses, a frog, a prince and a selection of sentiments - these will be ideal as I too have a friend who also got engaged on Christmas day0 -

just in case anybody is interested, and just in case it hasn't already been posted, create and craft have a sale on and if you buy online you pay for the postage, but they are going to credit it back to your account so it can be used during January.
