Flourgirl - it's a horrid feeling to see water coming thro' your ceiling:eek: but how lucky that you were in the house at the time and that it missed your laptop, it's a shock & a lot of agro but I guess it could have been a lot worse. What a shame your sister has taken such a step especially with your parents. :(

Rusty - Families!! who'd have em? I sometimes I think I could write a book about them. Don't let it spoil your Christmas it's not worth it.

    Love the Wifey's book.

KMS - well done on your DT post.

Lizalloareds - glad you're feeling a bit better.

Wishful - sorry no alphabet dies here.

Still not ready for Christmas here but only a couple of days and it'll all be over for another year :j Bah Humbug :rotfl:

Flying visit from me - sorry not to have been reading or posting lately, but been busy sorting out everything for Christmas, and what with still working until 3pm tomorrow, there just isn't enough hours in the day at the moment.

Just wanted to say to whoever sent me my secret santa present, it arrived safely today and is now safely under the tree.

Not sure if I will get back on before Christmas day now, so just wanted to wish everyone on this lovely thread, a very happy christmas and fabulous New Year.

    xxx

So sorry I haven't been saying much the last couple of days but

    :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j

WOO HOO! Hubby has just arrived home. He had a very good driver who managed to get him home safely so now he's home for four days and when he goes back he only has 3 sessions of radiotherapy left :T.

I haven't got any Christmas food in as he's mainly on soft foods at the moment so we're going to DS's for Christmas dinner - mashed potato and gravy for DH I think!

    I quickly noticed:

Jowri So pleased for your OH!

Flourgirl So sorry to hear about your house troubles, hope you get sorted soon.

Big hugs to those who have family troubles, such a shame to hear of families warring at Christmas time.

Well done to the ladies who have DT positions :T.

Sorry to dash off, going to get DH some soup now.

Wishing everyone a merry Christmas, hope you all have lots of nice things and enjoy the day.
  • Yay for Tomsmoms DH being home:j
