    Happy Birthday PepPop :bdaycake:
  • wanna-b After the big bust up on Friday the email from the chief exec said everyone out by 4 and in by 9 tomorrow except for some staff due to "business needs" right now I could tell them exactly where to stick them :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: My friend rang me tonight and we couldn't decide why our safety was far less important than other staff members

My contract is to work from home tomorrow so will be allowed to work but will have to prove what I'm doing every minute of my time. The thing that really annoys me is if I was sat in the office taking calls I could be sat there for at least 30% of my hours waiting for calls doing sweet fa and no one would bat an eyelid but as I'm special I have to work solidly for my full shift - can you tell I'm a little teed off.

Saw the postie today and he brought some more clubcard vouchers - free xmas shopping for me :D Don't know where he'd parked his van coz he didn't bring it down the lane for some reason.

Keep warm all - probably won't be about much tomorrow as will have my bum glued to my pc chair so I don't get in trouble. :rotfl::rotfl:

I was hoping to have one for christmas but he has given me one now as a 'cheer me up' present :) Bless him xx

Emzy81 - Can you please tell your fiance that I need cheering up too?:rotfl::rotfl:

snipped you Wanna B - sorry
Congrats to our latest winners - Marg you'd best get a lottery ticket as there's sure to be a third win :)

Thank you! I'm living in hope that Ernie might call - but I doubt it:)

Wishful - good to hear your MIL has settled so much better for you than all that travelling.
  • Padster - I'm really hacked off for you. My husband was due to travel to S!!!!horpe this morning and his boss rang and said not to bother as it was too dangerous - totally messed up my crafting though! "Enjoy" your work from home day tomorrow! xx

    Marg
    - I think Ernie's forgotton that he's holding my tickets!!

Has anyone ordered from Craftsulove before? I ordered over a week ago and have heard nothing, I'm assuming it's because of the weather, but I've had no dispatch notification and I really need the item this week.

It was shocking on the motorway to S c u n thorpe this morning - was -13 snow, ice and a broken down lorry my OH goes past there every morning and wasn't much better on his way back.

I've ordered from Crafts U love and think it took about a week but didn't get a dispatch email - prolly busy coz of their free postage offer :(

Haven't done much today am having one of my seasonal episodes
:rotfl::rotfl: but have at least wrapped some presents and hoovered first so they didn't all get a light dusting of cat fur :D from the amount I suck up every week the thing should be bald it can't possibly grow back that fast :o

LOL I just noticed that it put !!!! in my word - guess I nearly made a James Naughtie and Andrew Marr slip up:rotfl::rotfl: That sounds horrible - I'm going to tell him as he's on about travelling up tomorrow!!

I thought Craftsulove might be busy, but 9 days seems a bit of a wait. Mind you I bought some gems from eBay and have waited three weeks and heard nothing, emailed the seller and he says can I wait 5 days!!!??? If they arrive they will be a bargain (99p delivered for what looks like the Anita's gem wheels), if not then lesson learned and I've only lost 99p!!

You've reminded me of when I had my old cat, ginger fur everywhere! Daily hoovering and we still had tumbleweed and he still needed brushing for 20 minutes everyday. He's been gone two years next week and still I find the odd clump of fur in the oddest of places.:D Nothing like putting me to shame - I've not finished my shopping yet, let alone wrapped it!

I find CraftsULove slow with posting but then I tend to only order when they have the free postage offers or a sale. I don't think they send a dispatch email either?
