It's me! It's me! :j I'm so chuffed! Thank you for the heads up Wanna B and for your kind comments ladies. I do appreciate them.

I've only made 2 Christmas cards so far, so guess I'm gonna be busy in the next week or so......

Wanna B - nothing yet, will let you know when postie delivers. Sorry you've had a tough week.

Emzy - I'm not very good at this but roughly I copy the pic to my own pc, then copy the address of say, Gemma's blog page, then go into design on my b**g dashboard and select 'add a gadget'. In the box that pops up select 'picture' and paste the blog address into the http box (make sure you don't have 2 http's in there) and then add the pic from your pc & save. You can add a title & caption in there too. HTH (sorry if it's as clear as mud!)

Hope the thaw is happening for you all, we've had rain today never thought I'd be glad to see it!

WAKEY WAKEY!!! you should all be up and alive! LOL

ok so maybe not, I have been up since 5am, done some cleaning, some ironing and now debating making some cards ... I will catch up on blogs later on, but I did briefly notice someone asking about my challenge ... I will extend it until 6pm tomorrow night (monday) .... then draw a winner on tuesday!

Will be back later on to catch up properly, going to make the most of the children being in bed still :rotfl:

I was wondering about the secret Santa too, I am guessing we do say who it's from is that right?

Blimey Rusty you are up early! internet connection on my laptop at work kept crashing last night so gave up, hopefully catch up on blogs tonight

Marg thanks I will give your instructions a go later

Wanna B your postbox Christmas card is stunning

Am going to tidy up my little craft room for half an hour before I go to bed, I have lost an altered notebook, pens, ruler and my pretzel bags and a few other things too :o At least it keeps my OH out of here so I have stashed his Christmas presents, he can't stand mess and just shuts the door on this room ;)

Morning Rusty and all who follow. Its freezing here again :( please can we have some rain to wash the snow away. We did manage to get out in the card yesterday and deliver shopping to my mum and dad but when the windscreen defrosted it had a travelling crack about 10" long and 3" down :(:( So next weeks job is to get a new one fitted, I have no idea of the cost just £60 excess on the insurance :( We managed to get to LIDL for the coffee bags:D and they had their Lasagne Bolognese on 1/2 price £1.34 for a large one and they are really gorgeous and I don't really like ready meals, but I do buy this one at least once a month (lazy moo) Sainsburys was a nightmare  at least we got mums stuff.

I sat and made another 6 ES mints puddings yesterday afternoon so thats another job out of the way. Cards are now waiting to be posted, ASDA should come tomorrow, money transfered from savings into bank :D so now just have the mains to get for Willow, Mum & Dad and SIL &BIL then next weekend we can put the tree up and relax :D:D

I cheated with the inserts on my cards and when adding the verse I added our names and best wishes!! I hate writing!!

Marg Congratulations on your win, it's a stunning card xxx

Whoo hoo, many congratulations Marg, I too love that card :j

Good luck with the fair Gemm xxx

Rusty, blimey you've been busy, well done missus, you put me to shame :o

Flourgirl, good to hear you've been able to get out, sorry to hear about your windscreen :(

Mad-Frog, I'm missing some bits in my stash too, I haven't had a proper sort since we had our living room floor done and I chucked things wherever I had space.

I've got so much ironing to do today and we are going out to meet up with my brother and his partner for lunch and to exchange Xmas pressies.

We've got loads and loads of goodies up for grabs on the Cards for Men blog tomorrow, make sure you come and have a peek ;)

  • Morning all. It's looking like it's going to be a good day here - rain has finally stopped, wind dropped and sun is trying to come out too, oh and almost all of the snow has gone!!!

I was up early too (not as early as Rusty though!!) and have done three machine loads of washing, cleared my dining room table of the craft stuff, made 15 envelopes (god I hate that job) and am just about to shower and turf that lazy hubby of mine out of bed so I can strip the bed! Kids are at mum's so think I might wrap their pressies ready to pop under the tree when I put it up later this week.:D

    - I found it on those hanging clipper strips on the end of aisles (we don't have a Hobbycraft here, so I have absolutely no idea where it is normally kept - sorry).

Flourgirl - hope you get your crack sorted - the last time I had to have a rpl windowscreen it was £180 plus vat.

Gemm - good luck with your fair today and enjoy your Christmas shopping.

Madfrog - thanks for your kind comment on my card, I wasn't sure about the colouring, but thought I'd go for it anyway. I have my experimental head on at the moment so am trying lots of new ideas, products and projects!

Right I really must sciddadle otherwise I'll sit on here and that'll be my plans out of the window! Take care peeps x
