The words are on the paper, but I know what you mean, would have looked better if I had cut the words off and put them on top of the glittery paper. I will try another one:o

At this rate I will be doing cards for Christmas 2011:rotfl::rotfl:

If you have a steady hand and a good craft knife you might manage to slit the paper above and below the words and slide the glittercard through, can you tell I have changed my mind about a layout before:rotfl:

Irlip have a look at this card it doesn't have to be round, you could have a play around with some rectangles. Try plain card then glittercard then patterned paper with Tilda on foam pads. Its just a case of playing with what you have got and moving it round until you have the desired effect.

    That is gorgeous:)

    PepPop, that's great news

Irlrip, I think your card looks fab so far and love how Tilda is sitting on the wording, your colouring is beautiful. I would add something heavy looking in the right hand corner, a few flowers maybe or snowflakes?

Padster, oh your poor cat, we've got to take ours for his annual jabs but I keep forgetting to make the appointment even though I have it written down in about 3 places :o

Dawnteabag, monochrome and ruby tuesday is what I went for but I also liked the look of grape and grey ;)

It's started snowing here, I have a feeling the school will be shut tomorrow :( But if it is, the sledges I bought about 3 weeks ago will get their first outing ;)
 If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain

I got the email from craftwork cards about the goody bags too. I was looking at them all and deciding which ones to have and my daughter said i'll get you 3 one each from each of the kids then a couple of minutes later she said you can't buy any sam said he'll buy the others for you from his kids . So good result for me . Just need to start making more and do them justice.
I need more grandchildren then they can buy me more goodies. lol. Unless i get some like carly and kaitlyn who use all my goodies .

Wifey stunning diving display today and what fab cakes everyone baked. Wish i could bake cakes like that.

Pep pop and dawnteabag have you had any mail from me yet?

Glad the new jobs went well for ct and mr pep pop.

Craftygranny I got a card through the door from the postie today so I'm assuming it's from you :) I'll pick it up from the sorting office. I was worried cos our post is shocking but at least I know it's safe and waiting for me. It's typical though - this is the only day this week that OH wouldn't be in for the postman - he's on backshift the rest of the week :(

Can't wait to go and get it. Thank you :j:j

thanks for the link rainmac:D I ordered 3 - 2 for me and one for a pressie. I also ordered Christmas and birthday sentiments and more card candy...was only going to order one goody bag and £26 later:eek:

well done CT and mr peppop on your first day in your new jobs

dragonllew so sorry to hear about your OH's job - hope he finds something else soon

rainmac sorry your ds1 missed his trip to see Father Christmas but they will both be so excited when they go on their next trip! hopefully he will have a few years of believing. ds2 still believes, ds1 isn't so sure but won't admit it. last year he kept trying to prove Father Christmas did exist rather than he didn't:rotfl:

paddington hope your cat is OK. our two followed OH and the boys this afternoon when they went to the park. one came back the other didn't. OH went out to look for her a couple of times and eventually found her in a hedge (it was dark, snowing and lightening) and she was pretty scared poor thing. although she keeps hissing at everyone so isn't very appreciative:rotfl:

rusty glad you had a good time on the train. love your disney card - that was quick:D

we have had loads of snow today - OH and the boys' schools were all closed today and will prob be tomorrow too (ds2 def is). today is one of the days I teach and the school was closed so I will have to teach next Monday instead (today would have been my last day):(
saving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200
    £60 deposit paid :j £100 paid:j £40 paid:j
  • I got the email from craftwork cards last night ... OH has brought me 3 for christmas :D ... they were dispatched first thing this morning  quick for them!

Bunbun - Doesn't take me long when I have my mind set on something :rotfl: told you I would use it ... now I have I can put it int he drawer never to be used again :rotfl: Anymore snow up near you?

Rainmac glad you have had a good birthday! :)

OH is still home, not sure when he is going back to work, probably tomorrow as he is supposed to be going offshore on Friday for 5 days!

Marg yes I'm still at my temp job, I think I'd be able to cope much better with everything else if it wasnt for that eating up all my daytime hours! Still, more money for stash :D lol

I'm sooo tempted by those CWC goodie bags... wonder if the cats should get their mummy one for christmas? (or one each!:D)
