Is the letter press worth getting

Well you can get the same effect using a bigshot (or equivalent) but I didn't like the idea of putting messy things through my lovely new bigshot lol! Also at £9.99 if I break it then it's not as bad as if I tried it and broke my bigshot! :eek:

Don't you have to put the letterpress stuff through the Bigshot?

Hmmm, I think you need to run it through but not use your plates - says it comes with:
Letterpress tool
Clear packing mat with grid
Paper placement guides
Ink base
Ink brayer
10 white card blanks
9 printing plates with adhesive sheets (see list below)
1 black ink

But we'll see once it arrives For £9.99 it's not such a waste of money if I decide not to risk it lol!

I've just popped on to ask a similar question. I like pearlescent paper and card and currently buy it by the sheet and it is expensive! Any tips for where I can get this in bulk would be good.
Sorry lizalloareds but I don't think I've seen any textured!

Jellie - maybe a local craft shop would have some as part of a "fill a box" deal?

Thanks FF- local craftshop is hobby craft so not much good for deals.
Best so far is centura pearl on crafters companion.
Liz- amazon has some centura pearl embossed but not in ivory that I can see.

Hobbycraft has packs of 5 Promarkers for £4.89 (I think) at the moment. I'm trying to talk myself out of going there tomorrow once I've been to Lidl for card :rotfl:
