I resisted the charms - i have loads here that I don't use anyway.
Rainmac - my oven was far too dirty for cif to get anywhere near it
No cleaning for me yesterday or today am going to make something - have no idea what but deffo something - probably just a mess. I haven't even done any stitching since Monday.
Have also started my xmas shopping - am usually done by now - arghhhhhOfficially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

rainmac - I've never seen those scrubbers with handles before, must look out for some as they are an improvement on the ones I've used. - Thank you!
flourgirl - I looked last night, no ballet shoes here, I don't have many charms anyway and am never sure how to attach them.
Am hoping to go to a craft fair later seeking inspiration but am not holding my breath.
Padster - no Christmas shopping started here yet.
One of the side effects of getting old is people we buy for are either young adults who'd much rather have money or oldies who've died so it's no longer either much of a task or fun. There, now I've cheered up I'll go...............0 -
Good afternoon, everyone, I'm having a PJ day although I have to say the bottoms look cheerful and Christmassy, it'll get me in the mood for cards.
Padster, one of the easiest things to do for your oven is to steep anything removable in the bath overnight in lots of sudsy Ariel, the powder not the tablets. The grease peels off (sounds like I've got a mucky oven but I haven't really) I learnt this from a pub landlord and it works too.
I love your stories about craft fairs, I went to a country fair in the summer and was appalled at the prices a stall was charging. There were loads there with the smallest of the LOTV images (2" x 2") with a sentiment peel off on a DL card going for £2.25. No backing paper, just coloured card. I don't think she was very busy. Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the ground each morning the devil says, "OH CARP, SHE'S UP"! :whistle:0 -
Wifey - I'm in my pj's too - penguins with scarves on lol!
Put together the last (phew!) of my Christmas cards yesterday and now just need to add the glitter :rotfl:
Then it's just the circles for the other design (done 20 of one style and 20 of another) and I'm done!
All I can say is thank god for sticky stamps!! :rotfl:0 -
I have done a card for the hugs challenge, but it's for someone on here....and it's not quite their birthday yet. Could I email a pic of it??
Louise - your birthday card is going in the post today(Not hugs related!)
