Hi all artydoll I'm delighted you're so much better.:j
I've just spent the afternoon making my grandsons birthday card,I faffed around making an 8"x8" card blank ( I had some envelopes)
Where's a good source for this size (I got the envelopes in the range)I don't want huge quantities just for the odd special (they don't come more special than our boy Dec,almost 16 -yikes)
If you make your own have you got any tips on measuring etc ?
ps 'still haven't made a single Christmas card :eek:0 -

Had a nightmare week so far - wasn't very well Monday and Tuesday then was called in to work yesterday when i wanted to be in for my craft table to be delivered - don't think my boss would have seen that as a valid reason to work from home I had also planned to clean the oven but that can wait :rotfl:
Fortunately neighbour took it in for me - then I scrounged a free tea at a friends and didn't get home till 9 so have only just got it out the box - looks weird here with not a scrap of stash down here on the table will have to polish the damn thing - never have a glass dining table
Am off to the dentist in a bit but will be too dark to bring rest of stuff in from the garage afterwards i hate these dark nights :mad:Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended

Hi everyone, may I join in?
I am new to card making but have been thinking about it for a while. I now have a card making stash (on my blog) but am not sure how to start. I have no idea about different techniques and effects so I would be very grateful for any advice or help on how to get into/start cardmaking.
Hope to be making cards with you all soonComping wishlist for 2017

Evening ladies, sorry for being AWOL but you know how it is sometimes. Padster I was going to clean my oven today too but the copics were calling lol.
I'm going to be really really cheeky now and ask if anyone has any Molly Bloom Stamps and could stamp me some images pretty please, if so I'm sure we can come to an arrangement ;-)
I actually managed to get a card on the whatsit this morning, then spent the afternoon playing colouring lol.
Welcome Savvybunny, I started making very basic cards and then gradually through looking at what other people made and by finding tutorials I managed to progress a little. You tube is good for different techniques, have a look on there. If you see something you like I'm sure this is the right place to ask for help. Browsing blogland is a good place to look too.0
