  • I don't use tape runners either - sorry - I use the DST from £1 shop mostly it's about an inch wide.

I have the x-cut guillotine and it does exactly what it's supposed to although it has developed a squeak in the last couple of weeks but it could be in shock coz I've been using posh papers :rotfl:

Finally have the decorator coming tomorrow - have had the cistern and some skirting replaced in the cloakroom so far this week - think I have ODed on glue and gloss fumes though ;) We will get this house fixed up and on the market................... is like living in a very long episode of 60 minute makeover now nowhere is tidy and it's driving me barmy
Officially a non-smoker but still rounder than recommended :p

I have the same Purple Cow one that Carol has (and got it from Costco too!) and I really like it.

I haven't had any time for crafting this week and it's making me cranky :( I'm going to make calendars and cards tomorrow night, so help me :D

Beautiful post The Wife brought a tear to my eye, still thinking of you and your family TomsMom x

Have loads of stuff to make, i have lost a couple of stamps and some ribbon, so I will be tidying my craft room over the weekend and probably end up buying more storage if I can work out how to squeeze it in

Macma I have the x-cut although I must be doing something wrong as I can't get on with it and usually use my ruler and scissors

Morning everyone, dry and chilly here today

I have used the tape runners from the pound stall at the exhibitions and it's ok but i prefer the SU ones now, though they aren't cheap

kids are going bowling today so I might get a card made.

    hugs to all

Thank you all so much for your lovely messages, I really do appreciate them.

Funeral is tomorrow, 21st. He asked for a non-religious funeral with no hymns or prayers and no-one to speak about him who didn't know him. So it's at Aberystwyth Crem (beautiful setting) and I have chosen some songs from his record collection and three poems. I have written a tribute and will try and say it myself, not sure if I will manage it but I have to try because I know he would have had no hesitation in doing it for me. We're very lucky as we live quite rurally there is no "production line" at the crem, we have a 45 minute slot which is the norm.

If you can spare a thought to send me some positive vibes tomorrow at 1.30pm to give me the strength to deliver the tribute I would be most grateful.

Thanks again for all your lovely messages of support.
