Hi,
4.456 litres = 1 gallon, so for example 35 litres = 7.854 gallons ( 35 divided by 4.456).
In other words divide the number of litres by 4.456 to get the number of gallonsGrant me the serenity to accept the people I cannot change, the courage to change the one I can and the wisdom to know it's me"0 -
Yes, they have had a rough time lately, but a) at least you HAVE heard about the recalls! and b) now should be a good time from that POV, they really will be being careful these days! :rotfl:Recommendations for Toyota - I do worry that there have been some recalls of other models.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I'm not a silver saver but hubby and I are 39 and 43 does our opinion count?!! I have a Peugot 107 and love it I'm getting 60 mpg and £20 tax! I have the 5 door version. I change my car every 3 years and it looks like next time round I will be having the Toyota Aygo purely because I think the styling is a teeny bit better than the Peugot 107 and the C1 and the Toyota has the 5 year guarantee. Otherwise a great, cheap to run, fun to drive great looking car:T0

snippedYour cheapest option is to keep your Rover until it breaks down.
Most diesels are more expensive than petrol equivalent. For example the list price for Citroen C3 1.4i 9 is from £11890 and Citroen C3 1.4HDi is from £12990.
Thanks, but this is MSE budget is 3 - 4k rather than new! Problem recently with remote control - £95 for a new one, time for a new timing belt next service - hence change maybe opportune soon!
Anybody have a Diesel C3, what are they like, e.g. do they lose power going up a motorway incline?
I don't now do that much mileage, but make several 330 mile trips a year m4/m25/a41.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -

the volvo drive e is very good, zero road tax due to extremely low emissions and also does about 70 to the gallon. its got a brief review in natwest sense magazine. volvo's have a good reputation for being solid and reliable. hope this helps:)0

....Since changing from gallons to litres I've never managed to work out how to calculate how many miles I get to the litre/gallon! For e.g I recently did a round trip of 340 miles having filled my car from (almost) empty at £47.00.
