I did a 3D TV demo today and I was really impressed. Got a proper demo with the glasses on and the pictures were amazing.
I watched the Liverpool match and then when I got outside the shop I realised my purse had been stolen
Oh no. Have you contacted the shop to double check in case it was just dropped.
I suppose there's probably lots of people who take advatage of the fact that people are so immersed in watching the TVs, particularly when you have the glasses on, and aren't paying attention to their bags etc.
Coupled with the fact that as a MSer you're paying even more attention to the TV demo, it must have been even easier for them.
Will most likely be on CCTV if you report it?!? I know with MSing you're not meant to report problems to the store, but it's not really something about the store so should be ok???Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700 -
Re the eggs jobs.
Are you only allowed to do them between Wed 27th Oct and Sat 30th? I chose one for tomorrow and it was accepted.0 -
I'm not waiting for any payment this month but this has happened to me once in the past. I built my invoice, and thought I had pressed submit, but apparently hadn't. Another reason for non-payment is that you miss the cut-off date of the 19th of each month. I always ensure that I build my invoice prior to this date, even if it means that I dont get paid for all of them this time.
Could it be one of the above? If not, hound them.:)
Thanks but no, I submitted it on the 19th. I have been promised it has been sent today, registered mail "to see what is happening". Yeah right, I've been working for them on and off since 2007 and am still living in the same house. It is so frustrating when something goes wrong, like this, as you are lucky if you get a reply witihin 48 hours. I shall wait with baited breath. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

This is much worse than I thought – in fact worse than Gap or RE.

I have applied for loads. The limit on self applications doesnt seem to apply this time. Would have applied for more except that I'm still time barred from a lot.
Mind, I'm talking about only 1 day locally and two days doing a 100+ mile round trip.
The photos dont bother me except for the extra time involved. If I get seen taking them, it's at least 6 months until I'll be back. And if they remember me, it just means the visit should go smoother. I dont mind getting sussed as long as they dont say anything. Then it's just my 'feeling' and not a hard fact.
Now where did I put that '101 recipes for eggs' book. :rotfl:
I agree!! Did you take Coldstream? I like doing rounds im waiting till the local ones im off barred from(gala selkirk etc)0 -

They are great aren't they. We were walking past a shop that had demo's a couple of months ago and we all had a turn at the glassess. Can't see them catching on though......do you have to sit in our living room with the glassess on:eek:0 -

My bad!!!
It's just that this is actually a really common thing to happen. I have a friend who works in an electricals shop (which is annoying actually as I often see it to MS but can't because of him!! ) but he was saying it happens all the time.

I've worked for this Co for quite a while now and the payments are getting longer and longer.
I get the impression that it's a one man (well Caroline) band and they have problems in organising anything!
There's no petrol allowance or any perks for last minute jobs and the fee is not that good for he amount of work involved.
The excuses for not paying on time are gettiing more unbelieveable TBHO so I've stopped doing work for them
Buyer beware.....0
