Oh I feel like a stupid old fool!!!!!! Did my first MS today and it all went so well and I remembered o do everything I had too until I got outside and realised I had not got a receipt. Such a stupid mistake. Please tell me someone else has done the same thing :-)

Oh yes, on my second ever shop I did the same thing haha (and that's only because my first shop gave me one automatically). I went back and got another chicken dinner 30 mins later lol.

Excitement- after emailing the chief executive and everyone else on the Council last night, an army of men with shovels and a big grit lorry have arrived.
Grit lorry currently stuck on the ice!!!!!!!!!!!
But I'm getting freed after 17 days

    Great news :T :T :T :T

I am just back to find the gritter has been in our road and has managed to reverse into our wheely bin and smash it . One of my neighbours saw him do it and said he pulled forward and stopped to see what he had hit and then just drove off (having taken out someone elses as well).
  • Quick question...Retail Eyes payment date says 25/12/10....assuming we get this early?

So excited! I just dashed to do a quick express blue supermarket that had been postponed for 2 weeks, you can't imagine the delight in buying a couple of bananas and cornflakes!
bit hair raising getting back up the hill as the grit not fully worked yet and it's still quite rutty, but I'm back!!
Now got about 50 jobs for tomorrow! Not taking any more tho when these are done that's it until the New year. Can't cope with the stress of getting snowed in again.
  • Snow just about gone up here today, just sheets of ice on some paths which makes the walk to work very slippy indeed

Assume nothing and I wouldn't expect it early at all... it leaves their bank 25-12-10 and gets to yours a few days after.

Still happens to me sometimes, your so pre-occupied trying to remember everything that it's easy to forget. I usually pop back in and say the stuff is for work and I won't get paid unless I have a receipt.! I always try to pay by card then they always give me one.

    I'd email the council. :(
  • Hello all, not been here in a while, soooo busy!!!

Anyhow, was just wondering if anyone else got their "special package" from Gapbuster this Christmas? I really didn't think I'd done enough work for them to qualify this year but I obviously have!! Very pleased with it!!
