If I were you I would fill out the bits of the report that you can and then submit a query in the report......some of the reports auto cancel, and that way you should stop that from happening.

I dont think they work weekends there at all, so you will need to wait until Monday morning.

Thank you, especially for pointing out the possibility of the report being cancelled automatically after the deadline. That didn't cross my mind at all.:o I'm going to fill out the questionnaire and submit a query.

The snow has turned into horrible slush now here in Kent. I tried to walk my dog this morning but even he kept slipping!
  • Probably best to read the thread then as posters comments on each company come across very clearly.

Yea, I've been reading the thread as it goes along and kept a note of mentioned companies but I did want a little extra into what people find as their favourite, but I have my answer now (I am already signed up to it so it's okay). Thank you for your point anyway.

    Did you submit an invoice?

you need to go to www.amberarch.com log in and submit an invoice on here

    just in case

I thought we no longer had to submit invoices for sassie work? Just checked and I've not been paid either. Emma is always helpful though.

It's hugely subjective, and people change their opinions frequently, so you'll never get a good answer to this question. Also it gets asked a lot and has been answered i various ways throughout the threads. Asking it tends to rub people up the wrong way as it's seen as 'lazy' (can't think of a more appropriate word). All companies seem to have people who love and hate them, depending our ast and current experiences.
  • Amber haven't paid me since october...who is it best to contact? Or should I use the help/contact link next to the job?

They pay by Paypal now. Have they got your details?

(I'll amend the first post in a bit!!)

The new payment system started from October onwards, so if any work was done before that, late September, then it would still need to be invoiced to receive payment in October until the new system kicked in (I think.lol)

My August shop got paid in November. So I think October ones may take longer. Their shop log is not very clear. They don't give your marks out of 10 or say if the report has been accepted or not. I did one in October and I am waiting for it to paid, but I still don't know if they have OK'd it or not?

Still thick of snow and ice in the North East. Main roads are not too bad, but side roads and car parks are still hazardous. Got stuck in Silverlink retail park reversing out of the space, but luckily I was on the end of a row, so I just drove forwards and out the side of the bay!

Managed to get two super shops and a large supermarket done, so I'm shattered now. Just home thawing out and trying to find the energy to go back out and do an audit now!
Here I go again on my own....

I did a last minute job 28th October for them and got paid via Paypal on 15th November.

Did two other jobs 2-6th Nov and still haven't been paid.

    Didn't send any invoices IIRC

Maybe their pay runs are on the 15th of every month??
