Sorry. I didn't realise the NAME was the link!

  • Dundee practically closed. As far as I can see no buses or schools. I had to go to my garage to get food from the freezer and its drifted over 2 feet!! There's about 15" lying elsewhere. I'm not going anywhere!!!!!!!!!!

    STAY OUT OF EDINBURGH

hubby coming back white out conditions hes passed 22 accidents

Thanks Jen. Unfortunately my brother left earlier to try and get back to Renfrewshire. Hope he's ok.

Got home from Lanzarote last night. Sunbathing yesterday. Snow clearing today. Bit of a change. Not a nice drive back from Newcastle last night. Took more than 3 hours. Collected the dog today and had to walk the last mile and a half to the kennels. Think I'm going on a winter shutdown for the next few months. No jobs unless I'm going there anyway.

And my MS rant of the day is about TNS. Applied for 4 jobs before I went away. Nice round route. Got back to find three jobs had been de-allocated as I hadnt opened the link. They still had 12 days before they were due!!! If they were as quick sending the links as they are to de-allocate jobs, then there wouldnt be a problem. Cancelled the one that was left as the trip aint worth it now. Rant over. Away sledging.

It basically said that, if the snow is affecting the store could you please mention it in your comments.

I'm hoping it either gets no worse or clears before next week as I'm off too. Current plan is to get a train at 4.10 am but if the snow is bad it'll be too chancey and it'll mean the night before at Heathrow. Yotel here I come.

I had a very confusing email from the secret eating company today. It's the first one since I applied with them... it said "log in within the next 14 days or we'll cancel your application". No problem. Except that I haven't yet had my user ID, and if I follow the "reset password" link on the website, it says, "this facility is only for full members".

I've emailed them back but don't know whether I'll get a response :(
