  • No, all I can see is banks, banks and more blinking banks! I might actually take a day off work during the week and do some!

Must admit I am tempted to do that too, although I don't need to take a day off work to do them! I reckon there are at least 10 on there within a 20 mile radius for me, ..... I just can't be bothered to do them.

With regards to the GFK petrol, I have one booked in, it is a trial one for the company usually done by REACT. (exactly same scenario, so looks like REACT have lost the client. :-( )

Know what you mean but I find the thought is worse than the actually doing. Go for it! A group f these is fairly good money and not too taxing...I have a few booked in...need to fund next little jolly jaunt away and it's Christmas round the corner!

I have given myself the giggles....silly really but does anyone else find this question open to a variety of amusing answers?

"Overall how did the member of staff perform in the Bedding Department?"

Should go to bed myself really. Just noticed the time.

  • "Overall how did the member of staff perform in the Bedding Department?"

I'd love someone to put "I haven't slept with the staff member so I am unable to comment" :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Bet that would definitely raise a proofing query :D

Lol Jen. On the west coast the saying is "fur coat and nae knickers" the east always was a wee bit more posh than us :rotfl::rotfl:

As usual, hours behind everyone else, but has anyone seen a CTE recently (unless this is now a CUE ....... haven't seen these, so don't know)

Sorry everyone for any confusion, CUE was a typo and it should have been CUS.

I realised I'd done it but then I got a knock on the door to say my little 1 year old cat had been knocked down and killed, so as you can imagine, I wasn't thinking of changing a typo on here.

A neighbour took him out of the road and came and told me as whoever did it didn't even stop . I wouldn't mind but I live in a really quiet cul de sac with a big circular green in the middle, and unless you live here or are visiting you wouldn't drive up here, so it's probably someone I know. There's some lovely people about aren't there .

Sorry to hear about your cat *hugs*
Here I go again on my own....
  • Whilst the proofreading being done quick is great it would appear that the old trick is still in play. A shop done and submitted on the 30th is now showing to be paid on the 25th. Given the fact that the payments don't actually reach accounts until the 15th which means the payments leave them on the 12th at the earliest I think cutting off the pay run on the 30th is excessive.

Big hug from me too. :(
  • Sorry to hear that squidgeum. Happened to us too a few years ago - the neighbour found our cat and brought her to us
