Then had lunch in Dept store restaurant for abai and the food was so dear that I wont have any left over from the reimbusment and the food was not even very nice!

My local one serves nice food, but there's never much left from the reimbursement. It has a lovely big window where you can sit and look out and it's never that crowded so you can usually get a window table. I just look at it as a free lunch in a nice place if I happen to be in the shopping centre.

I had a recorded telephone call to do for RE this afternoon. The children were all playing quietly with the train set in the sitting room, so I though I'd sneak into the office and make the phone call. While I was busy, my youngest wandered through and said in a big loud voice "Maaaaam I'm just going for a poo":rotfl: Just praying that the recording thingy didn't pick that up :o
Here I go again on my own....
  • I never accept the cafe ones. I've done two and have always found them very overpriced, especially for the poor food quality. You could get the same for half the price at a Tesco cafe.

I dont think I will do them again either. I dont normally mind having lunch for just reimbursment but the food was naff!

As we usually bemoan MS companies, I would like to commend one. I did a covert buy back for RQA on Sunday, and the payment and reimbursement is in my bank today!

I hope other companies are reading....

They're great aren't they? Wish they had loads of work. I've only ever been offered one assignment in 24 months! They may have preferential shoppers and they only used me when the one in my area was unavailable. I hope he or she soon moves to another part of the country cos I've been doing this for years and never get premium assignment in my area although I always get a high rating. :(

Oooh, I'm all excited as I did this job too for them yesterday. Given that I'm still waiting for a BARE payment from August, this would be great.

Never worked for them before, very efficient and clear guidelines. Recommended and that's before I've been paid! :p

Hi everyone - two questions. First, I want to apply for Bare's Native Speaker Qualification but can't work out how to call the number! +1 866 796 1704 is what's given on the brief but I've tried several variations and keep getting a 'number not recognised' recording. Any ideas? Secondly, the last time I did a job for the company that cannot be named I think I sent an invoice somehow but now I thought I read that I have to wait to be sent an invoice and fill it in, then return it. Which is right?
    TIA
  • And here's the email response:

Thank you for your interest in the ***** loan assignments. We have had a huge response, and many of you are expressing concerns regarding credit ratings and payment,

If we decided to take on this contract we would of course make sure that you are reimbursed for any expenses as well as being paid a fee.

As regards credit ratings for late payment, we are currently seeking advice as to whether this would be affected with the appropriate organisations and company concerned.

Once we know more information and have assurance from all parties that this would not affect your ratings we will then decide as to whether to proceed further with this.

We will contact you again with full details and of course you will have the opportunity to accept or to decline the assignment as with everything we do.

Once again thank you for your interest shown

They obviously hadn't asked the question about credit impairment before sending the email. Oh dear.

    Thanks for posting.
