Weeg, dont be silly! This is financial suicide. If you want a loan, mortgage or remortgage within the next six years you cant have a defaulted payday loan on your CR. Even a payday loan in itself is frowned upon.

I've sent a sniffy email too, advising them to add a disclaimer about the long term repercussions of accepting the shop and advised that it may be a matter for the FSA.

Oh my god, I briefly read the email and missed the bit about NOT PAYING it back on time!!!!!

Jesus christ that is financial suicide. Very very poor show from the company in question, they would be better off getting feedback from real clients.

OMG, just read the email and came straight on here. Think you have voiced my feelings exactly!!!!!!!!

What about interest accrued, charges etc - says nothing about these being reimbursed on the email??? Do they think we are all morons? :rotfl:

  • Ok I called JKS to discuss this and the advisor I was speaking to hung up on me! I'm going to report this to the FSA as I dont think the payday lender or JKS are complying with the relevant legislation.

And yes, I meant to included the client name and I've asked to take me off of their client roster. This has made me feel queasy. My day job involves trying to promote financial inclusion and JKS are flying in the face of everything thats bad about this industry.

Poor show JKS, and hanging up the phone on someone with a valid concern. Disgusting.

You're "allowed" to say the company name (JKS), but we do avoid naming the client and in this case I don't think we know who it is.

Please let us know how you get on! I'm very interested to see what happens.
  • I personally think it's a disgrace. And the email is very poorly written on top of that!

If anybody gets an email back i would love to know what it says (holding my breath would not be a good idea)
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!

I swear I've not dreamt this but I remember seeing an email address to ask for React feedback as I'm kicking myself for not getting the report perfect. Does anyone that what that email address is? Have read the Assessor Guidelines document but it wasn't mentioned on that.

    Many thanks!

Hello all, may I ask a quick question please?

I have my first pizza counter carry-out for Gyp tomorrow. The briefing says 'Order 1 pizza, 1 side, 1 drink' and so on. I'm thinking of ordering 1 large pizza & 1 garlic bread, as they are currently doing Collection Deal, which is 1 large pizza & 1 garlic bread for £9.99.

My question is, is there any rules as to what kind of drink I need to order? Do I have to get a big bottle of pop or is a small can ok?

    Thanks.
  • Until the 'crunch' I worked for a big bank and this is a fairly common thing and the trace can be removed from your credit rating no problem by the organisation. However given that this has not been mentioned and someone has had the phone put down on them I wouldn't go near it!
  • These are my personal favourites:

Take out loan for highest amount approved for the shortest duration allowed

    This could be £100,000!!!!!!

When due date is today (to repay the loan)

Shopper should NOT repay the loan (have a £0 balance in bank
account) and wait to be contacted by lender
    i. Enquire about partial repayment
ii. Confirm default fees and interest
    b. Shopper should Hold off repayment for 3 days after due date
    i. Repay ALL loan charges, interest and default charges
ii. Send a snapshot of bank account showing exact charges debited by lender

    YEAH RIGHT!
