  • I'm sure one fast food place I visit has sussed me. Even get a till opened especially for me.This has happened a couple of times now so I'm sure it's not just paranoia on my part. I think as long as they don't say anything, I won't!

Some visits just make you laugh. I'd always assumed that one store had worked out who I am. Even more positive after today. I was literally followed (stalked?) around the store today. Wandered up and down and around a few aisles to check on this. When I stopped, they stopped. When I moved, they moved. As soon as I put my puzzled frown on they were leaping to my assistance. Didnt even bother reading the name badge as it's the same person that's served me on my last three visits. Then they open up a checkout just as I get there so that I dont have to wait. And the rest of the staff are nearby to see who I am for future visits. :rotfl::rotfl:

The best thing is, I get the same service when I'm there as a normal customer. A perk of the job. :rotfl:
i use to have this before a shop shut he knew who i was i knew he knew and he knew that i knew he knew but nothing was said
if you follow, we got a great deal when i went in with boyfriend to make a large purchase
just before the shpop closed down he thanked me for the nice feedback.

They're all recommended to some extent. If they have no jobs in your area just now then check again later. The jobs tend to be released in waves, so nothing this week but maybe 50 next week. If you do decide to do some then dont do too much. They do take longer when you're starting. And you will make mistakes. We all have and still do. Went to the wrong shop, went at the wrong time, forgot a name, forgot a receipt. Chances are that you wont get paid when you make the mistake. You're self employed so it's your loss.

You'll learn what the good visits are, what ones are ok and what ones just arent worth it. Though again it's all down to your own circumstances.

how bloody big is the cardboard cr*p they have sent ... not sure i will get ity in the car.

I'm not doing that one, but I've had two stands recently for other companies that came in huge cardboard envelopes. They were too wide to fit in my car (Focus hatchback). I found it easier building the stands at home and I managed to fit them in the car with the back seats down.

Take care carrying them into store though. I parked in a big open car park on a windy day. When I carried the stand across, I nearly took off :rotfl:
I was just wondering how people feel if they have been sussed as an ms. Do you keep ms'ing the same place and think sod it or do people take a little time out from shopping that location again?

It depends on the store. If it's somewhere with loads of staff and just a quick enquiry, I'd do it again.

If's somewhere with few staff and a detailed enquiry, I'd wait a while.

I also note down my appearance I think I have been sussed. If I was wearing smart trousers, hair tied back and glasses, I'd go again in jeans, hair down and contact lenses as I look quite different.
Here I go again on my own....
