  • Just a quick question - is one of the phone shops on grassroots age-restricted? Hubby is only seeing one type, even though we have tried different postcodes etc. He is 41, so wondering if that is the reason!

    cheers :)

    Can be age........or sex .
Often a client wants a particular demographic shopping.
Certain companies (like Bare) are transparent and I know as well as some clothes shops I'm disallowed from some mobile shops but not others on age.

    Hi

Has anyone done a jewellery shop with Tern? Am I meant to send the receipt back to them along with the jewellery or am I suppose to keep it as proof of purchase until I'm reimbursed?

I'd also like to say thanks to everyone for helping me with all my questions and in general for the useful/entertaining posts.

Ive always been told to send the receipt back with the purchase. Just make sure you keep a copy for your records

Just finished my egg shop reports for today and I take back what i said about the 3 photos not bothering me. 1st shop was ok. 2nd shop I got 1 photo and then the bread lorry turned up and totally blocked the shop. Had to wander around waiting for it to go. Then the shop assistant was out cleaning the doorway for another 5 minutes. Other shops were ok except for passing traffic and shoppers.

Just adds to the time which is my own pet hate. Plus the downloading time. 4 attachments can take a while.

I know what you mean, I have done the first 5 of mine today and patience ran out on shop number 2 also.

They are fine until you get a store where the tills as beside the window and they can see out which just adds to the cabaret of the situation after running in and out with packets of crisps that you have just scrunched up.

Still, my courtesy call from Gyp in the middle of it all cheered me up. I am contemplating seeking advice regarding this call. Does anyone know how long they are allowed to keep your details for after they give you the heave ho?

Good luck. As they're in Australia I can see going down that avenue would be more trouble and effort than its worth. If they ring again just accept the job and then don't do it. That would stuff them up even more.

    Photos.
    Here's a thought

Use Google street view to get a view of the shop, screen capture it and send them that
  • Have tallied up my Nov assignments and I'm up to £201 so far. Would love to make it to £350 for Christmas presents. Waiting on cats, petrol, posh dept store, anything from Gfk as I have none of them yet, and whatever else pops up. In desperation I might accept an RE... no, I take that back.
