Make that 20 egg jobs. I read the earlier posts about how they had changed the due dates and managed to pick up another one that had originally been for Saturday only.0

Someone's taken all the egg shops in Devon it seems, Grrrr!0

Hello
Can anyone tell me how Retail Maxim compares to other MS companies.
I don't want to sign up with too many companies as I seem to be spending a lot of time checking sites for jobs but I've signed up with one or two that don't seem to have jobs in my area.
Thanks0 -
I signed up and have only had 1 or 2 job offers in a year. Never done one for them though. However as far as I'm concerned the more companies the better, some of the ones with less clients will actually pay better than those with lots! I've signed up to 3 new companies this month and have had job offers from all. One in particular seems as though they will have a fair bit of work. I'm happy anyway.0

I did it once ad-hoc to help a company out for a little while. Never again!
Sometimes there was a report that was well written and it was a breeze reading through with nothing to correct and everything made sense.
Many had spelling and grammar errors and bits needed altering so they made sense.
The worst ones were badly written with no caps or all in caps, no punctuation or written in note form rather than sentences. Editing took forever to get it presentable and it was more like rewriting the report myself than simply checking it.
Sometimes there were contradictions such as the store was marked down no greeting, then the shopper would type "I entered the store and Bob said hi", so that would need to be chased up.
Too many shoppers were rude because you dared to ask for more information or send the report back and ask them to write it properly, even though I worded my requests politely. Many said they were only being paid £x for the job, so they were not prepared to spend any longer on it, even though they hadn't done it properly in the first place?!
There was always a panic at the end of the period where people hadn't bothered doing shops, or they'd had to be re-shopped so we'd have people flying out at the last minute and we had to be on standby to proof read as soon as the reports were on.
When I started, they said I should average about 10 minutes per report and the pay per report seemed really good. However I found it took a lot longer than 10 minutes due to the poor quality of reports, and the pay wasn't as good as I first thought. Here I go again on my own....0 -

Jobs are very few and far between. They text you when there's a job in your area and you need to call them back. Very reliable payers and if you need to spend a substantial amount on an assignment you usually get reimbursed within a week. Reports are standard and thankfully not repetitve. I get about 2 assignments a year only! Wish they had more for me.0 -
Hi - Just got a bit of a problem / query.
I'm shopping later on today with a certain food company. I have been told to order a buffet (5.99) with two drinks for 'up to two people'.
However on aforementioned companies website there doesn't seem to be this combination?
Has anyone done one of there? What should I be ordering?!
(I have also email the shopping company, waiting on a reply.)
Thanks.0 -
