    Hi MrsB

Just read all of your diary and am amazed!! You have achieved so much in a short period.

How do you find ebaying?? I want to seriously start MSEing in the new year.

    What is your second job?

    Congrats again Mrs B!!

  • Thanks Weebear!

Honestly I hate eBaying. It's a hassle and not something I do every month. However, it can bring in good ££ if you have quality things to sell. If I don't think something's going to go for over £5 I don't bother.

Do you have a lot of debt to clear? I've found keeping a diary really helpful, and reading others obviously. Good luck!

  • I have about £20k....

I have been thinking that keeping a Diary would be useful.....perhaps for the new year!!

I think I need to consier extra income so ebaying may be an option or even a second job. Is your second job home based?

  • My 2nd job is connected to my main one and so isn't something I can suggest to you unfortunately.

It has made a big difference to me though, and I'd encourage you to look at the £10 a day board for ideas on how to up your income.

    Great...will check it out :money:
  • £1k paid off this month! I'm going to keep PADding tiny bits to the car fund until I finish work on the 22nd and then I'll be taking a break until the New Year. I usually only PAD when I'm in the office.

We got a phone contract rebate this morning of £45 which brings my £10 a day challenge up to an amazing £760.63. 2nd job has been very kind and we've had two unexpected cheques. So it's pretty much paid for our whole Christmas! I'm so glad I ordered the special gift for DH. Can't wait to give it to him!

I'm really glad you ordered the special gift for DH too :) I'm not fussed for receiving presents but I love giving them because I love to see people happy when they receive them. At least you can relax and enjoy Christmas knowing that it is pretty much paid for and you got a great present for DH!

Back after a long and well deserved break!

Didn't overspend over Christmas and am on course to meet this month's targets too. Up to 58% today and only £125 to go until sub-£10k. Excited about that one.

We are househunting at the moment so need to try and trim a bit more each month. I would love to make it to an Oct DFD.

£10 a day is going to be a big struggle this month after the huge success in Dec but I'll keep trying.
