Virgin TV - what type of cable?

I have Virgin TV coming soon, and I want to get some cabling under the floor in preparation as it's a nasty job to do. Once the installer is here hopefully it will be easier for him as well.

I don't know what type of cable to run though as I've heard the wrong cable simply wont work. Can I use the satellite type cable in Wickes? Any advice welcomed.

WF100 will be good.

Or this seems a not bad retail price if you want to pick up and cant wait for delivery.

cant comment on the Wickes cable as they give no details at all regards to tech specs, which is allways a warning sign.

All I ever use is CT100 (mainly because we have a lot in stock here from a massive job we did that CT100 was specified on). Any digital/satellite grade co-ax will do the job.

Tip: Run 2 cables not just 1. That way you have a spare if one gets damaged. Costs a bit more (twice as much obviously) but saves so much hassle in the future.
