One question - if the comp ends today and you win it. Do you count that as a September or October win?

Hi everyone, I have been comping on here for 16 months and have just won my first prize!

£200 book tokens with a hamper full of Uncle Ben's sauces. Took a while but finally won something and a lovely win for my first. I spent the tokens yesterday and it was wonderful to not have to pay for them

Thank you so much, those are very wise words, which I definitely needed to hear. I think I enjoyed it more when I was treating it as fun. I think I need to get that attitude back, as as you said, I've set my expectations high - and really the only person who stands to be disappointed by that is me. It's been pretty all consuming I've got to admit. I really need to make it upto my poor novel! x x
