  • I have literally been doing this in earnest for about 3 weeks now, it's more an experiment to see how i fare and a way ( I am hoping, touch wood) to support myself as I finish my novel and try and find f/t contract work.
But lordy it is hard work!!

So far, I've been blessed with a tickets to see interpol at XFM - by a fellow lovely comper who couldn't go.
Frusili bars ( which should be in situ)
Runner up prize of handmade fudge on facebook - v.yummy
and I think something by Max Factor - though I've not had an email confirmation - but neither have many other winners yet by the sounds of things.

I've got to confess to be a bit gutted because of effort expended, but i think i need to maybe not stress over it and rely on it too much maybe? And also, a load of them are probably still live. I should have made notes of what I entered I think..my bad.. : /

Well done on your wins, I would say you have done brilliantly given you have only been comping three weeks. I think your expectations might be extremely high though hun, the majority wouldn't win enough to support themselves but... it is a fun and enjoyable hobby, wins can be far and few between so if your expecting to win you may feel very disheartened especially as a fair few compers dedicate their waking hours to comping compared to a few hours a day. Wishing you luck :)
