    Hi,

I was wondering if somebody could explain what the following would mean on a Title Registry under charges

    2 (21.03.2005) REGISTERED CHARGE dated 23 December 2004.

3 (03.01.2008) Proprietor: LLOYDS TSB BANK PLC (Co. Regn. No. 2065)
of Barnett Way, Gloucester GL4 3RL.

I presume no 2 is the mortgage but am confused by number 3. Any help or guidance appreciated.

the answer is that (2) records there is a registered mortgage put on the register on 21.3.05, and (3) tells you who has the benefit of the mortgage over the deeds (Lloyds TSB).

But why is (3) dated 03.01.2008? Why isn't it 21.3.05? Because Lloyds changed from C&G back in 2008, so the Land Registry just changed their name in 2008, that is all.

    Good luck OP
My posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:

My bad spelling...well I rush type these opinions on my own time, so sorry, but they are free.:o
