Can a bathroom not have a toilet ?

If someone rented me digs with no bog I think the bath would inexplicably get blocked occasionally!
99% of the time if you drop the bombs off with the taps running you'll be fine, especially the hot one as it softens it up before going down the plughole.0 -

now thats advice ! i'm sure it'll come in handy..0 -
I'd much prefer to keep toilet and bathroom separate - hygiene, no queues, no smells.
Problem is every bathroom I see has a toilet in it - just the way they're made in this country (but not so in some other countries).
Either way, there'll be one tucked away somewhere.0 -

Well yes, but it depends a bit where they've tucked it away. It's a right pain having to move the telly and ask your visitors to leave the lounge every time you need a tinkle if they've concealed the loo behind the telly unit.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -

I think youll find an awful lot of 1930s and 50s houses have separate bathrooms and WCs. My house does and so did 90% of all the other houses we viewed of that era.0 -
In 1930s houses it was common to have bath and basin in one room and toilet in a smaller room next to it most have been knocked into one.
beat to it by 1 minute0 -
Great minds eh?! lol0

If it's self contained then yes you should have your own toilet.
When I lived in one place though when I was a teen it was studio/bedsit kind of place and had 4 to a landing that shared 2 toilets/1 bath. Yes I've done the run to the loo in dressing gown at 2am hoping not to have been spotted by neighbours (and PRAYING that I didn't lock myself out!!).
When you viewed it did you have say 4 doors to the studios and then other side did you see just normal internal doors ?Inside this body lays one of a skinny woman
but I can usually shut her up with chocolate!
When I thank a post in a thread I've not posted in,
it means that I agree with that post and have nothing further to add.
