Hate to say it but she's become a caricature of herself: all that leering and suggestiveness. And the idea of combining chocolate with peanuts makes me want to heave, even if that cheesecake recipe hadn't had enough fat in to kill an army by clogging up its arteries. What a spoilsport I am..... OH loves her though !

Chocolate & peanuts are probably my fav combo:p

I put this on the cook something different thread, but thought I would add it here too. I think this book is one of my favourites :)

I have to report on another complete winner of a new recipe. Nigella Lawson's Kitchen ROCKS! Everything I have cooked from it is fantastic....

Tonights winning recipe was Indian rubber lamb chops, with a combo of the butternut salad and indian spiced potatoes. It was amazingly easy to cook/prepare and super tasty.

Macerating the red onion with lime juice makes such a difference to the taste. I would recommend the book 100%

Just wanted to recommend Nigellas Kitchen for those who don't have it (I KNOW that there is a thread on it, but I cannot find it, and I searched titles only:o)

Everything I have cooked from it has been spot on, tonight we had the pasta with spinach, feta and pine nuts, it took 20minutes in total including prep, and it tasted DELICIOUS :j Not massively healthy, but not horrendously bad, and no meat (not technically veggie unless you use veggie parmesan, not sure if feta OK, am sure it is)

I lost faith in some of her books after feast (didn't like it-MASSIVE fan of how to eat) and I find her a parody of herself on TV, but this is a fantastic book, with loads of really simple recipes that taste wonderful.

Hope this persuades someone to give it a whirl, its been out a while now so can probably get it from library :money:

    Hi hotcookie.

I've added your post to the original Nigella's kitchen thread so that you'll be able to find it more easily next time.
