What a spoilsport I am..... OH loves her though !
Chocolate & peanuts are probably my fav combo:p0 -

I put this on the cook something different thread, but thought I would add it here too. I think this book is one of my favourites
I have to report on another complete winner of a new recipe. Nigella Lawson's Kitchen ROCKS! Everything I have cooked from it is fantastic....
Tonights winning recipe was Indian rubber lamb chops, with a combo of the butternut salad and indian spiced potatoes. It was amazingly easy to cook/prepare and super tasty.
Macerating the red onion with lime juice makes such a difference to the taste. I would recommend the book 100%0 -
Just wanted to recommend Nigellas Kitchen for those who don't have it (I KNOW that there is a thread on it, but I cannot find it, and I searched titles only:o)
Everything I have cooked from it has been spot on, tonight we had the pasta with spinach, feta and pine nuts, it took 20minutes in total including prep, and it tasted DELICIOUS :j Not massively healthy, but not horrendously bad, and no meat (not technically veggie unless you use veggie parmesan, not sure if feta OK, am sure it is)
I lost faith in some of her books after feast (didn't like it-MASSIVE fan of how to eat) and I find her a parody of herself on TV, but this is a fantastic book, with loads of really simple recipes that taste wonderful.
Hope this persuades someone to give it a whirl, its been out a while now so can probably get it from library :money:0 -
Hi hotcookie.
I've added your post to the original Nigella's kitchen thread so that you'll be able to find it more easily next time.
