Second hand xbox sold as new-Play.com seller

could it be that it hasn't actually been used by someone but was a display item somewhere? hence it being re-wrapped in the box. Obviously that should have been mentioned, maybe take a look at the thing itself, has it got any scratches/stains anywhere on it, signs of regular usage before you got it? If it does look in really good condition I'd probably keep, £110 sounds a good price.0

sorry for your bad luck.
i'll never use playtrader again after i bought a CD off someone for £1 ish obv free p&p as per plays t&c's. waited and waited, eventually got a card thro the door asking me to pay excess postage + £1 admin charge. needless to say i gave the seller a chance to pay this or refund the item and i'll not collect it. they gave me a refund.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

I've bought a couple of things off play traders and had no problems. I've used ebay and marketplace sellers more though. Does play trade have a feedback system like they do?
If so, give the sellers bad feedback and in future check the feedback before buying.0 -
Item has definately been used many times before but my son wants to keep it.Rather than wait for money back and then wait for "new" one to arrive.
Have given negative feedback though. Selling second hand items as new is wrong.0
