iam opening an ISA with barclays, £100 per month going in.
i also have £550 in an e-saings account with barclays... is there any reason i shouldnt put this £550 into the ISA TO EARN INTEREST TAX FREE.
i assume its better in the ISA, correct?
if so, why would anyone want an e-savings account, just for people who want more than £3000 per year ?
cheers

The other reason not to use the cash ISA is if you want to put more than 4000 into stocks and shares, which are likely to get you better returns over the long term. If that doesn't apply, go for an ISA.
The highest interest rate available today requires a 3000 initial deposit or transfer and is 5.75% from Ruffler Bank, potal only. The next highest is 5.3 from NS&I.0
