    More to the point, it's more like a main evening meal than a lunch!!

    I've had half pot noodle, kinda went off it after it was slagged off :p

    Does sound a bit strange though Marru.....for next time, you could mix the mash & broc, top with the cheese sauce, and then bake topped with breadcrumbs maybe - might, as you say, make it look a bit more appetising as well! :rotfl:

    It was surprisingly nice and now I have a very full tummy.

    I couldn't find anything else from the cupboards (DD already had toast for brekkie so didn't want to give her cheese sarnies for lunch) and we can't go to the shop until the garden clearance man has been to give me a quote.

    I shall go and sort out my laundry and the kitchen in 15 minute bursts and the time starts NOW...

    ETA: I blized the beans first...
