Lurkioio, I've got a lump of beef, silverside, cut from a huge lump weighing 800g, how do I slow cook it in a poxy electric fan oven?

    guess I'm a bit late :o

very low heat, cover tightly with foil.... might want to seal it beforehand (the beef, not the foil ;))

:DNeigh, neigh, and thrice neigh :D

    Thanks Maman you too :)

Don't know if I am psychic, but I went to the shop this week. Nothing unusual there I know, but I have posted about the number 13 before and its connection with myself.

Well at the checkout I had 13 items which came to £13.13p, I mean what are the odds?

So en-route back to the office I purchased a lucky dip, and yesterday was the 13th, I mean I was sure I was going to win big..............

Its valid for Wednesday too :)

It just has to be me :j

Take care sweetheart and lovely to see you too :A

Oh and as I am stuck with what to watch on the tv, I have just been through my planner and found: Its a wonderful life, a very nice festive film.

    So thats me sorted. ;)

    Hi all

Yesterday went well, the guy I'm working for and his researcher are off on hols so just me and the lady I'm taking over from, so pretty relaxed. Spent some of the day finding my way around.

Got back to my station last night to find OH waiting to pick me up, got in, table was already laid for tea and left over beef heated in gravy and left over mash and veg turned in to colcannon was already prepared by OH as he finished at 4pm yesterday and I didn't get back till 7pm. THIS sort of thing has NEVER happened before, could get used to it though :rotfl:

Hope the foot recovers soon Sparkles xx
