    Hi :)

Loads of changes going on Jo - you go for it girl ;) Good luck with the job hunting x

Glad to see the diner is back open, I've been missing our food chats.

We've had a few changes at home too but its all calming down a bit now and everyone is well. One of my problems at work has disappeared also and we've had a move round. I've somebody really nice to share my job with now so hopefully that will be much better.

Still got DH cooking for me though - beef balti and chicken tikka masala here tonight :D Might even find a nice cold bottle hiding in the fridge (but don't tell the other thread )

    Have a nice evening everyone.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

Well hopefully I can reopen the diner, I've been offline for a month or so but we've now had sky installed :D

    How is everyone?

Things are very different here, living in new house with my new peg and I walked out of my job, so I am unemployed! I'm loving it!

Been for a couple of interviews, didn't get one last week, still waiting to hear about one I went to on Tuesday. Got one on Monday and one on Friday, my suit has never been worn so much :rotfl:

    Hope you are all well?

    xx

:j Nice to see you back matey, its been ages since I have had a good cup of coffee ;)

But you walked out of your job!! Budgie is shocked, I thought you really enjoyed it?????

Goodness and goodness again, I on the other hand have settled down in mine, well for now ;)

I guess I realised that I needed to change the way I was feeling and to be honest when my friend left, I was so busy I didn't have time to dwell. So not been online myself either, I have been so pooped.

But I now realise how her negativity was rubbing off on me, Budgie is very sensitive to these things you know.

But Budgie is now officially on holiday and off to Greece on Monday. :)

Glad the peg is ok, hope he doesn't mind being referred to as a peg? But it is of course a "term of endearment"

But I am feeling so old, I mean have you seen David Essex in Eastenders? I remember going to the pics to watch him in silver dream racer, now that was back in the day.

Talking of back in the day, is Dear Lurky still doing his mlc?

Anyway better pootle off, tis good to see you matey and another chapter opens up for you. How exciting :)

Good luck with the interviews, "go know em bandy".

Yay to suit wearing, but make sure you have the stripey socks on too ;)

Much love to everyone and take care.

Glad things are well with you all :)

Budge, sometimes you have just got to make the decision that is best for you. Hope things stay settled for you. How's Mr B?

Quick question, have any of you cooked slow roast pork in an electric fan oven?

I am getting to grips with this fangly thing, its got gas on top, leccy inside, loads of lights and knobs and an extractor dodah, all I want is to roast me pork for 6 hours on a gas mark 3, how complicated can it be? This thing cooks in a fraction of time, I don't know what temp to use or for how long??

    Help!!!!

Great to 'see' you, Jo! Glad you found the mental strength and courage to follow your feelings.

Slow Roast Pork............GM 3 in an electric oven is normally 160C but in a fan it converts to about a 140C - all depends on the oven, but that works out OK in mine.

    Enjoy!

    Thanks Jo :) I will.

But tartan socks and not stripey  Pippi would be horrified :rotfl: Btw hope she is ok?

Mr B is fine thanks matey, I am busy packing and I am having to be careful as I only have 15kg baggage allowance  I normally take way to much though.

I have bought a straw/floppy hat yesterday from Primark, its big and probably not as cool as a stetson ;) But hey. you can't miss me, with that and the poncho :)

Sorry I haven't done the slow roast pork, intend to. My oven is electric with a gas hob, its useless and I think I should get another one. Honestly I do despair with it.

But so glad to hear you sounding chipper, you do seem happy and I am impressed that you are FINALLY doing what you want to do. :)

So won't be online again after today, but I shall pop back when I return, I should have been off 2 weeks but I am going into work on my 2nd week as they are struggling, my new oppo doesn't start until the 14th, I have met her last week and she seems nice.

I shall be down though August Bank Holiday week to see my DS, and I am hoping to see something of London this time. ;)

Btw where do I go for the new/age ethnicy type markets, or anything unusual, crafty/jewelery etc?

Budgie loves to rummage, but I like a good deal too.

So big hugs Jo, good luck with the interviews and ditch the tartan, its stripey power all the way. :)

Oh sorry and Hi and hellow to everyone else ;)
