Hoping not to need dinner tonight.

Just back from lunch out: scallops in a sort of balsamic butter on mixed leaves with capers (very yummy) and then plain old ham, egg and chips (well it may have been hand reared ham and eggs laid by the chef's pet hen:rotfl:). You know, the gastropub type thing. I had new potatoes instead of chips and refused a pudding.:A DH had a white chocolate and orange bread and butter pudding with custard.

Swimming lesson day for DD meaning that we had fish and chips for tea. It is becoming a bit of a tradition now. :o

That sounds good to me Marru:) When I was younger me and my parents had to go somewhere twice a month and it was tradition for us to stop at a little chef on the way back. I was only about 10 but still remember those pancakes.:)
